Zari was raised in the jungle where she grew up with plants and nature. Her parents called themselves protectors of the forest and so Zari would often protect the plants as well. However, she lost her tail tip when she was very young because a leopard attacked her. One day, she walked out of the jungle and got lost. She met another lion cub, but she hated him because he treated the plants wrong and didn't care for others. The moment she knew she hated him was when he bullied other animals into doing things they did not want to do and when he attacked her and gave her scars. So she ran away from him before he could hurt her. Soon, she met the Utendaji Pride where she told her story.


The Utendaji Pride was set up so I was able to educate everyone on musicals, one of my favourite things (get the pun?)! I just love them and their songs are so powerful, so each member of the Utendaji Pride is related to a different musical. Every picture of them will relate to a song and I will post the link of the song so you are able to listen to it, as well as a context in the story of the musical.
