Xarix is one of those old crotchety people of society. He lives alone in Ifrun Ranges, near Heasi. Everyone tends avoid him because of his reputation of being grumpy and rude. No one knows how long he's been in the mountains or exactly who he is. All that they know is that he is extremely skilled at summouning. He is infact one of the Ancient Council, the council that ruled Mardur before Eox's takeover. Most of the other Council members were killed by Eox, but him and a few of the others managed to fly away and have been hiding ever since. He is known to never smile. When Hermux arrives at his cave, he does start to change, becoming slightly nicer and helps Hermux hone his extraordinary skill.
