Appearance:
With orange fur, but not really red, Petrine has a somewhat boyish look. She has a tuft of head fur spiked back and a nasty sneer plastered on her face. She has a little "rim" that borders the underbelly fur of her muzzle, belly, and paws. She has two scars in the corner of her left eye and one on her shoulder. She has three nicks in her left ear and a large notch in the corner of the same ear. Her smoky-black nose is "Outsider" shaped. Her irises are a light lime-green. She has tufty cheeks. She, like many of the lionesses that are acquainted with either Chaltuu or Kapuki, has a large, muscular body build.

Personality:
Ruthless and merciless, Petrine is vicious and brutal. She rather enjoys teasing her victims tauntingly before killing them. She doesn't like to take pity on others, and never really has. She's aggressive and very dangerous. The only one she gets along with is Kalei, and Kapuki and Chaltuu- somewhat. She's extremely disdainful and mean, often looking down on those smaller or weaker than her. Arrogant, no doubt, and she is the type to certainly be willing to hurt anyone.

Cunning and manipulative, she is also very sneaky. A lie can very easily slip off her tongue very quickly, and she is quick-witted and clever.

History:
Raised solely by her father with no mother, Petrine was often left to take care of her younger sisters and brothers. Her mother had died of illness, and she had six siblings to look after- four males and two females. She often felt resentful towards her father for giving her little brothers and sisters all the attention, and often tried to gain her father's attention. Not always in a positive way though. Sometimes she'd get in a fight with a random lone wandering lion or lioness to try to catch her father's eye, which usually ended up in a scolding, her father telling her to "not show off, to not go and make more trouble for their family".

Angry and bitter at her father and siblings, she ran away. She hated her family, and met Kalei, who was a smaller, weaker lioness. Petrine had felt a very tiny spark of pity for the tiny lioness. She had taken the younger lioness "under her wing".

When she met Kapuki, she felt a chance for revenge. When Kapuki's very minuscule sister was born, Petrine and Kalei stole the cub and attacked it, before leaving it out to die. Against their plans, the cub, Ua, was found by an adult lioness named Mbaya.

After Kapuki and Shujaa left and found Mbaya, Petrine and Kalei found another chance. Petrine attacked Mbaya, and Kalei attempted to lunge and steal the cub at the last second, but both of them were driven off, spitting and hissing their promises for vengeance.
