Sanaa is the daughter of Nucha and Muziki, a rogue lion. Her mother was well known in the pride, and easily gained the acceptance of bringing her partner, Muziki, into the pride. Soon, Nucha mated with Muziki. Once Simba found out that Muziki was mating, he exiled him, leaving Nucha alone.

Soon, she gave birth to Sanaa, a pretty young lioness. As a cub, Sanaa was very frisky like her mother, and loved to explore. During one of her adventures, she met Chaka, the son of Simba and Nala. She had fell in love with him, and they became friends. They were the best of pals, and never hardly left each other's sides. However, that changed when Chaka found out that he wasn't going to be king. He became distant from everyone, including his best friend.

Once Chaka was a teen, he battled his brother for his position as king. Chaka did mange to win, only to be exiled by his father. Sanaa went with him, telling Simba that she would calm his rage. However, his twisted personality made it impossible to cooperate with him, and thus she left early on in his journey.

Sanaa found that it was difficult on her own. She couldn't return to her home, as she had broke her promise with the king. She was constantly hurt by male rogues, and had little to survive on. Finally, she met a friendly lion named Kocha, who had eagerly needed more recruits in his pride. Sanaa had found herself in love with the handsome male. Soon, the two were in a blooming relationship, and soon, she would give birth to his cubs.
