Shakia is the first born of Simba and Nala, and is the elder sister of Tanabi. As a cub, she loved to hear stories from her father, especially about his childhood. Shakia was very much like her mother, and would often be too stubborn to partake in activities. She was also very protective of her younger brother, seeing that he was often pretty stupid, and got himself in a lot of trouble. When news came of Tanabi's death, Shakia was also very sad, and grieved for many days. She would often go by the gorge that he fell in, and would mourn there. One day, a rogue lion by the name of Saida passed by. Shakia fell in love instantly with him, seeing that he looked so much like her brother. Shakia also left the Pride Lands soon after to join Saida's pride. There, Shakia became the queen, became happily married to Saida, and had a happy life.
