[Sarabi Mirage]

Nala was about to leave the Pridelands to search for help when her brother tracked her down.

"Nala, where are you going?" He shouted from a distance.
Nala hung her head low. "I am leaving."
"But why?" He asked.
"Scar nearly had me pregnant. I couldn't stay here much longer. I don't know how to hunt in a barren wasteland. He-he exiled me."
Mheetu stood firm. "Why would my dad do such a thing?"
"He is only nice to you! He loves you, and wants the best for you! Unlike us...who he is starving!" She turned facing Mheetu with tears.
He sighed deeply. "I understand. I'll go with you."
Nala sniffled, and dryed her tears. "Really? You'd do that for me?"
"Anything for my sister." He said while nuzzling her.
"Wait a moment." She shifted away. "Without a heir, Scar will go power crazy. The only adult male in this pride is you! Without you, the pride will never last. You have to stay, and protect Mother and Sarabi. This is your kingdom, Mheetu!"
Mheetu stood silent. Then he moved himself up onto a rock overlooking Pride Rock.
"Perhaps you are right. This is my kingdom, and I am the future king! I'll help make this place as good as it was during Mufasa's reign!"

Nala smiled warmly as her brother walked to his new kingdom. She began to search, and the first place she'd look would be the desert.
