[Sarabi Mirage]

Kiara is telling all of her cubs about the story of Mufasa and Scar. The cub between her paws, Mwonga, is asking his mother a question, and she replies. The cubs interest grows along with the climax, except Wivu. Her father had just arrived along with her to hear the story, but she isn't interested at all. She'd rather be like the rest of her siblings and not be able to take lessons. Sadly, they had finished long before her.

From left to right is : Kovu, Wivu, Mjomba, Mwonga, Amani, and Upenda. Kiara is in the middle.

In case your wondering, here are some small BIOS on the cubs, from oldest to youngest.

AMANI - (Peace) - Born directly after Zira's death, he was a adorable youngster. He looked a lot like Scar as a cub, leading to him being called 'Scar' as a cub. However, Amani is a very gentle cub, and would rather bring peace then vengeance. After all, his younger brother Mjomba is much more like Scar than him. His best friend is Upenda, his sister and loyal companion, who is only a few minutes younger than him. He finds the other cubs in the pride very annoying, and would rather stay by Rafiki's tree, learning about the kings of the past, than play tag.

UPENDA - ( Love ) - Upenda is Amadi's sister, who was born about 5 minutes after him. As a cub, Upenda was a adventurer like her mother. She liked to sit on Pride Rock and dream of when she'd be old enough to explore and hunt. She liked to play tag, especially with Amani. Since she is not next in line to be ruler, she would pretend to be Sarabi, acting stubborn and wise. However, she wasn't always that wise as a cub. One time, she and Amadi discovered a lion cub from another pride. Amani knew it was against the law of the kingdom to let lions from other prides into the land, but his sister would not listen to him. Soon, the father of the lion cub appeared. When he saw the cubs, he tried to attack them. Amani had ran to get help, and luckily, Kovu rescued Upenda from the lion's grasp. From then on, she was much wiser then she was before, and her interest in exploring faded.

MWONGA - ( Coward ) - Born about 2 weeks after Amani and Upenda's birth, Mwonga was the middle cub, along with his brother, Mjomba. Mwonga is a cowardly cub who is frightened at almost anything. Whether it be a butterfly or even his siblings, he is not very brave at all. Mjomba often made fun of him, calling him 'Nuka', after his deceased uncle. Amani stood up for Mwonga, being his big brother, and so would Upenda. Mwonga is also very shy. He hardly ever speaks to anyone except his parents, and is seen as a gentle cub.


MJOMBA - ( Uncle ) - Mjomba is the twin of Mwonga, but isn't anything like him at all. He is cruel, jealous, and is seen as a bully to all of the other cubs. Despite that he has his grandfather's colored fur, he acts much like Scar, but none of the cubs are brave enough to call him anything, let alone speak to him. Mjomba's main target is Mwonga, but Amani stands up for him most of the time, so Mjomba hardly ever gets a chance to make fun of him. Besides his aggressive temperament, Mjomba is actually a sweetheart, but doesn't want to let it show. He is even more cowardly than his twin.

WIVU - ( Envy ) - Wivu is the last born of the cubs. At birth, she was very weak. Kovu had to get Rafiki to help the poor cub, and luckily, after about an hour, the cub was alive and well. Being the last born wasn't an opportunity to get away from her siblings, but instead, it was a ticket to lessons from her father. Kovu wanted his daughter to turn out the best he could make her. She already had a dark stripe running down her head, and looked very much like Zira herself. Despite his lessons, Wivu wasn't hardly treated good in anyway. When she was finished with her lessons, she would go to her siblings, but they would just push her away, saying that she is "Too young to play with us," or they would call her 'Zira.' This would make her upset, and she'd run to a cave and cry herself to sleep. Other times, she would explore the Pridelands alone, or chase butterflies.
