Agulu's name means "fight like a lion." Her mother named her Agulu because Agulu was born normal sized, but she was weak and slept all the time. Agulu's mother was terrified that she would die, so she gave her the name "Agulu," hoping that the name would somehow bless her and make her strong. Fortunately, Agulu survived to adulthood, but lived a miserable life because she was born with her front legs useless and numb.
