Nzinga is the sister of Zira and the mother of Monifa and Arida. She loves her sister dearly, and hates the Pridelanders, especially Sarafina and Nala, because both refused to have their cubs for Scar, Zira's mate. She is best friends with Scar, and was devastated when both Scar and Zira died. Nzinga has a sour, bitter nature because of Zira and Scar's deaths. Even after the Outsiders joined with the Pridelanders, she refused to join the Pridelanders and lived the rest of her life as a loner.
