Jongeni is kind and thoughtful. He's almost always thinking about something, whether it's important or not, and tends to zone out at times. He's not very likely to do something stupid or brave just for thrills. He tends to second-guess himself frequently and has low self-confidence. He can get very angry with himself and go off on others with little provocation, but he doesn't tend to get violent. He doesn't think he's very strong, and so he constantly trains himself in an attempt to get better. He will attack someone if he feels threatened or if they're threatening his friends.

Jongeni's parents were rogues who accidentally roamed into a pride's territory before his birth. His father challenged that pride's king, but was defeated (In my fanfic, that pride was Simba's, Simba was killed, but Kovu finished off Kongwe). The pride took pity on his mother, however, and allowed her to join them. Shortly thereafter, she gave birth to a small litter of cubs, of which, only her son, Jongeni, survived. He was not treated badly in this pride, but they all seemed to think less of him, and they always felt unfriendly, despite how they acted. He felt isolated, and didn't feel like he belonged- at least, not as things were. So, when he is nearly 2 years old, he sets out a journey to find what is missing in his life, in the hopes that he can either find another home, or come to some realization that might make his life with his pride more fulfilling.
