After Scar became the ruler, he wanted to be rid of all the competitors for the throne. He excluded the pride-born males because their mothers begged him not to send them away. But that left Malka. So, as the sky grew dark with an oncoming storm. Sarabi walked Malka home for the last time.
"Will I ever get to see your again Aunt Sarabi?"
"One day, my child. When all of this is over."
I feel kinda poetic after that. Don't know why~
