Description:
Imara is a thickly-built lion, with powerful muscles and an overall Pridelander appearance. His face, though, differs in that it is more of an outsider's, with a narrow, pointed muzzle, triangular black nose, and more angled lines.

His pelt is a light, orange-tan color, sort of midway between his parent's fur colors. He has a smooth, lighter cream underbelly. This color is on his toes and muzzle as well. Imara's inner ears are a dark gold, while the rims are an even darker brown-gold.

His eye markings are the same dark gold as his inner ear, both top and bottom. They surround a soft, sky-blue eye.

Imara's mane is reddish-brown like his father's, although Kopa's is more brown. So in this, he resembles his grandfather Simba. THe style, though, is sort of a combination of Simba's, and of Kovu's. It is tufted, but has bangs that hang down on either side. It is full and scruffy.

Personality:
Imara is a tough, sometimes grumpy character, he takes after his fierce mother. He is more used to relying on his intelligence and instincts rather than physical attributes in situations, and prefers to stay where his outside would be more useful than his mind. He is quite cunning, like Vitani, and is skilled at devising plans.

He is somewhat of a harsh, even mean lion. He can be irritable and easily angered, and his short temper sometimes makes him seem unapproachable. He gets fired up fast, but can control his fury well. Imara is slippery and outright tricky, and he often uses this to his advantage.

He is, though, determined and has his heart in the right place. He always perseveres, no matter the cost, and will strive towards a goal through anything. He can usually keep promises too, and values them higher than his own life. He trusts those who he knows well enough to have knowledge of their deepest secrets. His friendship may seem harsh, but he cares deeply for those he is acquainted highly with.

Imara is very selfless as well, and often he cares little for himself if it means the well-being of his friends. He will never give up, especially when helping a companion. But, betrayal is final with him--he won't forgive and forget. Ever.

Imara can be stubborn and finicky too, he may be a nasty little thing to some. And to others, he is smooth-talking and confident. His personality at times seems bipolar.
