Nuka remembered the day well, the day that Simba ran from his mother and climbed up the rickety dam... He thought for a split second 'if I can get up there and throw Simba off the damn, mother would finally respect and love me.' But he thought of the risks, then looked at Spotty next to him. And in that moment he realized the only person he needed to please was her. Well, Simba got away, his mother died, and the two prides were united.
Nuka finally was able to give Spotty all of his love and attention. And with that love, that nurturing, a bright new life was born... from love, and not from his mothers war.
