Yeah Np! That sounds really cool! And firstly I use photoshop elements and a tablet to draw on the computer. But what I do is draw my sketch on paper then scan it. Once I have that scanned I open it up in photoshop and the layers box make a layer above your sketch and create a "lineart layer" on this layer you just trace your lines from your sketch. Then after you have all of your lines drawn you can delete your sketch layer. Now make a new layer under you "lineart layer" and now you can coloreverything (I suggest making a new layer for each seperate color) then after you have all of your characters colored in make a layer below all other layers. I would suggest making the colorful background first and to do that you can use different brushes by downloading them or using a gradient tool. Then do the record on another layer below your character but above the background. Then the same with speakers and music notes... if you'd like to add shadows pick a dark color such as a dark grey or blue and color the areas you want shaded on a seperate layer above your "lineart layer" then change the opacity of your shadow layer till you like how it looks... hope this helps I'm not sure if that's what you were asking for but if not just tell me thanks!
