[Nadra]

Nkosi ("king") is my version of Mufasa's great-great-great-grandfather that was mentioned in the comic "A False Ancestor". He is the first known Lion King to rule Pride Rock. In my theory, his birth pride gets taken over by rogue lions who exile him along with his old father. Nkosi's father dies soon after the exile, but his sisters Kamaria and Subira join him in his journey. Nkosi decides to start his own pride where the leadership would pass from father to son.

Kamaria ("like the moon") is one of Nkosi's sisters who joins him in his search for better life. She is pregnant for the very lions who had overthrown her father and later gives birth to three cubs: Tau, Nia and Lia. Despite her hatred towards their fathers, she adores her cubs, especially her only son, Tau.

Subira ("patience") is Nkosi's another sister who also travels to the Pride Lands with him. One of the usurpers had forced cubs on her, and later Subira gives birth to two daughters: Kulwa and Doto. Subira is a loving, patient and quiet lioness.

Mirembe ("peace") is one of Nkosi's two mates, the other being her cousin Amara. Mirembe is the first one to bear a cub to Nkosi, but because Zalira is a girl, Nkosi "tries his luck" with Amara. Mirembe is a cheerful and a bit naive lioness, and she is in good terms with everyone.

Zalira ("flower") is Nkosi and Mirembe's daughter. Nkosi struggles trying to decide who to name his heir, since he doesn't have a son. He then chooses his nephew Tau to be the future king and betrothes Zalira to him. Zalira is a brave and kind lioness.

Amara ("grace") is Mirembe's cousin and Nkosi's second mate. After Mirembe gives birth to Zalira, Nkosi hopes to get a son from Amara. However, Amara gives birth to two girls. Amara is sarcastic and rather pessimistic, but she has a good heart.

Ayo (joy") and Kiziah ("light hearted") are Nkosi and Amara's daughters and Zalira's half-sisters. They are mischievous troublemakers who love to tease their older sister.
