Hodari was abandoned as a cub and taken in by the Zambezi Pride ( aka The River Pride). He left as a young adult and mated with a green-eyed lioness named Shemshi, the future mother of Sarafina and Kiume. He leaves before his cubs are born to become a Head Trainer of the Warrior Pride.
