Lini is a creative young baboon who is like an apprentice to Rafiki during the end of Simba's reigna and the start of Kovu's. He has a bucketload of ideas, and likes to put them forward to Rafiki. Lini does find Rafiki's methods strange, but finds that they do work. He suceeds Rafiki when he passes away. Lini likes to try new things and enjoys his life in the Pridelands.
