Since the death of their cub, Scar and Shiiru were talking more and more about death. Especially Scar.

- That's what I told you, he said. What is the meaning of our life ? Saying that death is nothing for us means that life is completly annihilated by death. That's what make life pointless and worthless.

Shiiru looked at her mate, with a mix anxiety and indignation in her gaze.

- I believe that's what make life precious.

He didn't answered. She wasn't even sure he had listened.
