Description:
Kinyonga is a strong looking figure. He is a quite tall lion, as is his sister, but despite being the younger of the two he is still larger. Most of his height comes from his long legs. He has a Pridelander built body, and nose. His mane is thick and full, with a distinctive look to it--only one side has an overhang (like Simba's).

His fur is a deep, chocolaty brown color. It is almost dusky, and has a greyish tinge to it. His underfur is a lighter hue, reaching only to his chest like most male lions. His muzzle too is this color, as well as his toes. But the difference on his leg is the boots unique to him and his sister. A darker brown reaches up from his toes to the "wrist" of his front legs, and mid-way between his toes and "ankle" of his hind legs. He has a stripe of amber-gold brown on the top of each boot.

Kinyonga's mane is a very dark brown, the darkest color on him. His tail tuft is the same. His mane is large as an adult, but was very small as a cub--only a faint hint of ruffled hair on his head.

He has a dark pinkish grey nose, and dark brown ear rims. The inside of his ears are the same as his underbelly color. His eye-shading is dark brown too, the color of his ear rims and boots. He has brilliant blue eyes.

Personality:
Kinyonga is a tough lion, but he has an insatiable sense of curiosity. He loves learning and discovering new things, and is always asking about the world. As a cub, he had an endless supply of questions, and got to the point where he annoyed his elders with all his jabbering. He loves to talk as well, so it works out perfectly.

Besides his curiosity, he is a kind soul. He may seem a bit hard on the outside, but once you acquaint yourself with him, he become a friendly companion. He is very outgoing and has no problem talking in large groups, and has little shame too.

He is quite smart, of course, from all of his constant learning. He is one of the most knowledgeable lions in the pride, he might rival Rafiki in his smarts even. Kinyonga is diligent and rarely goes headfirst into things, he knows to think it over first.

He was more of the stay-out-of-the-big-cub's-way kind of lion when he was younger. Even though he was far from quiet, he tended to keep away just so he wouldn't be subject to taunting. Portrayed as a know-it-all, he had trouble becoming friends with some of the other cubs. He was always wounded by the teasing, it hurt him very badly. His sister Nyuki made sure he had some friends, and she was a very supportive lioness. She loves him dearly, and always protected her brother. She would stand up for him at any cost.

Kinyonga is an able lion too, he is powerful and doesn't see problems with a battle--justified, of course. He is about as fierce as a common rogue when needed, and defensive of his family and friends. He is not the most skilled of fighters, but will do it if necessary. He isn't the greatest hunter either, even with all his knowledge of what to do.
