As Kimbunga sat with Mvua, her mother, or who she thought was her mother, watching the sky. "We'd better get some sleep." Mvua said, curling up.
(A while later)
"Mother! Mother, look!"
I'm not your mother, gray version with purple eyed Zira! Mvua thought bitterly. She moaned and stood up. A bright shooting star zoomed past.
"You woke me up for that?" Mvua growled slightly. "Don't be so lazy, mother." Kimbunga replied, laughing. "Oh,please, laziness is part of my job."
"Whatever." Kimbunga sighed. Mvua groaned and put her head over her paws. She looked back at the cub. She was fast asleep, right on Mvua's thigh.
Stupid cub. What was I thinking.
Mvua scooted away without making contact with the other 3 cubs. I have to deal with this dumb litter. What was I thinking?
