Awali is often seen in his "teenager" ages with a small but growing mane. As a cub he was very bony and scraggly-looking but gained muscle and weight with age after constant hunting.
He is very laid-back and easygoing. Even through struggles he continues to stay relaxed. He is a naturally good hunter and can easily tackle a medium-sized wildebeest.

Awali enjoys laying out in the sun and relaxing when he's not around other lions. He prefers being alone than to spend time with others, but likes company when he is unhappy or feeling generous. Though sometimes he adores sharing his quarry, his generosity is limited and will act aggressive to those who try to take advantage of or offend him.
