Description: Koyuki is a tan-colored leopardess cub with green eyes. She is a very gentle cat, who would rather flee than fight. Her name means 'light snow' in Japanese.

Age: 8 months.
Close Relations: Mimei (mother) & Yubbae (father).
Special Skill: Hunting silently through the tree-tops.

Background: Koyuki was born in the lower mountains of Asia. Her mother, Mimei, had told Koyuki that her father, Yubbae, had been killed by a human. Koyuki enjoyed having snow around - Mimei didn't like snow - , even though the deepest it got was five inches. Seeing as they lived in the lower mountains, leopards were scarce there. Koyuki had to make up her own games which often included jumping from tree-to-tree without rustling the leaves. This strengthened her paws and enabled her to hunt from the tree-tops. She began to hunt birds for her mother, as long as she stayed within site of the den.

One day, Koyuki went out exploring while her mother was asleep. She stumbled through some bushes and found herself staring at a clearing that had a sparkling clear-watered pond surrounded by bushes and rocks. Once she had taken in the sight, she decided to tell her mother. She went back to the den to find that her mother had left. Koyuki waited for days, but her mother didn't return. She decided that she'd have to live on her own. She wandered back to the pond and made a den in a cave formed by some rocks. She lives happily there to this day.
