Name Meaning:
Abasi means 'stern' in Swahili.

Body Description:
He is a dark blue grey color, with darker mane and tail tuft. His muzzle and toes are lighter blue grey. He has a Pridelander nose, and his eyes are bright blue.

Personality(Adult):
Abasi is fitting to his name, being serious mostly. He is gentle around cubs, and protective, loving his pride dearly. He is extremely caring around Malika, and the two are very devoted. As a cub he was very playful, much different than his adult. He was still a bit serious, and prefered to think rather than jump in headfirst, unlike his friends. Abasi loved a run through the savannah, and he and his friends Lumbwi and Erevu did many a race.

History:
He is the same age as Hashiki, Malika, etc. He was born into the pride, with no siblings. He grew with two male friends, Erevu, and Lumbwi(Marjani's sister). They were a playful bunch of cubs, always finding trouble. As Abasi grew, he became more attached with the female cubs, especially Malika. He did become her mate, and had a daughter named Penda.
