Kiraka had saved a young lion cub from a river. Even though lions were the cheetah's enemy, Kiraka couldn't just sit by and watch the poor cub drown. The amber-eyed lion cub stared up, dripping wet, and said,

"Th..th..thank you, miss. Wha..whats your name?"

Kiraka answered,

"Your welcome. My name is Kiraka. Whats yours?"

The lion cub just sat there for a few moments as if she was unsure wether to tell the cheetah her name. Then she said,

"Ka..ka..Kina. My name is Kina."

Kiraka was surprised: This lion cub had the same name as her mother. Her mother, Kina, died seasons before, in a wildebeasts migration. Kiraka said,

"Ya know, thats the same name my mother had."

The cub look surprised and said,

"Really?"

Kiraka nodded,

"Really."

The cub said,

"Well, I must return to my mother before she starts ripping all of Africa apart looking for me. Thank you so much Kiraka."

And with that, the cub ran off. Kiraka smiled and said to herself,

"Your welcome."
