The eldest of the two brothers remaining of thier litter, Kamau is an often silent and unnoticed member of the trio that consists of him and his brother and an older male. He is a good hunter, patient and watchful. He is protective of his younger brother Tukuli.

Kamau is mottled with tan, black, and white like most African Wild Dogs with a white tail tip. His face is mostly tan with black around his eyes, a vertical black stripe down the top of his head between his ears, and a black patch on his lip. Under his left eye is a horizontal stripe of white. His left ear is tipped in black with white under it and his right ear is solid black. The rest of his body is rather random, but not. He has a set pattern that has a feel of controled chaos.
