Shadow is a young cheetah that was abandoned by her mother a few weeks ago. Shadow is a very intelligent, swift, and caring cheetah even though her mother, Sheki, was very abusive to her. Shadow never got down when Sheki hurt her, or ignored her. Sadly Shadow has a leg injury and life has been hard, Shadow can thank Sheki for this injury that could cause Shadow to die of infection or of hunger.
When it hurts to look back, and you're scared to look ahead, you can look beside you, and your best friend will be there.

The smallest cut can kill out there in Africa. Poor Shadow, a miracle would have to happen for her to live.
