"It's not fair!" Taka yelled.
"Life isn't fair, Taka! Learn to live with it!"
"I told you, the only one I allow to call me Taka is Zira! Because she's more family than you will ever be!" Taka said angrily.
"Taka, how could you say that?" Ahadi demanded.
"Because you're dead to me!" Taka sneered.
Ahadi bared his teeth.
"I've always been treated different from the beginning! I'm worth less than a dead weasel to you! And you're worth less than a dead weasel to me if you wish it to be like that!" Taka snarled. "You useless lump of bones!"
"Taka-"
"IT'S SCAR!" Taka yowled.
"Scar then. You have no right to speak to me that way. I am your king and your father!"
"Not anymore!" Taka growled. "I refuse to recognize a worthless pile of dead leaves as my father!"
"Scar, you are-"
"A disgrace? Well, so are you!" Taka spat. "Mufasa scarred me and you didn't so much as scold him. If I were to even prod him I'd be punished like a rule-breaker! Mufasa is a spoiled brat, just like you were!"
"Mufasa's king only because he's older," Ahadi replied.
"Exactly! Even if I was older you'd still choose him as king! A lanky little cub like me isn't worthy but a spoiled brat is!" Taka shrieked. "I hate you!"

Just the beginning of a sore hatred between Taka and his father. I've always loved Taka. <3 Even though they all call him Scar I refer to him as Taka. I mean, come on, Ahadi was a horrible parent to Taka! He names Mufasa after the word "king" and names Taka after the word "garbage" or "trash"!
It's very obvious that Mufasa was the favorite child. Then Ahadi shows obvious favor to Mufasa, almost like taunting Taka! Taka is left in the dust, all lonely and sad! And then comes stupid Mufasa. It's obvious Mufasa and Taka loathe each other, I mean, come on, Mufasa shows affection to Taka... let's see... zero times. :I
