Vikra is a strong, sturdy lioness with excellent fighting and hunting skills. Despite being born in the wild, she was relocated to a zoo in a lower part of Africa. Her zoo name is "Rosa." However, Vikra's mother refused to call her by her zoo name and instead called her Vikra, because it came from their wild origin. Vikra was raised to be an accepting, kind, generous lioness. Many other lions and lionesses call her "weak" and "soft" due to her former life as a zoo lion.
Vikra, on her first hunt, was distracted by a tiny, orange cub clinging to her tail. Irritated, she shook the cub off and tried again. But this time, the cub held on, and did not let go. Vikra had decided that she would just stop, and take the cub to her home. Though annoyed at the cub at first for spoiling her first hunt, she formed a close bond to the cub after a few days, and gave the cub the name "Aureus."
