Mina is the adopted daughter of Kiara and Kovu.

After Mina had met Gretel as a cub, Gretel had never saw Mina's parents til one day. Gretel found out that Mina's parents died, so after Gretel tells Kiara and Kovu about it they wanted to adopt Mina as a daughter.

Mina as a cub loved Gretel as a friend when they played for a while, then as a cub Muriel threat to kill Gretel and Mina but Mina stood up for her friend and so did Kiara and Kovu.

When Mina is a adult Gretel was getting more upset when Muriel kept coming back to threat more when Kiara and Kovu saved them Gretel ran away on that night, Mina came to til she met Ben and Hansel.

When Kiara and Kovu found Mina and Gretel they loved their mates so much that when Simba and Nala had died Kiara and Kovu let Gretel and Mina get married til one day when they came back to Pride Rock. Mina gave birth to two children. Henry and Mavis are her and Hansel's children.
