Chapter 1- Intro


From the depths of space, a girl named Nala searches for the truth of her parents' death.

Finding herself within a lost corner of the Pride System, she receives a distress call from a world known as Dinosaur Planet.

Being of a kind nature, Nala decides to investigate.

Buddy, you gotta follow through on your story ideas, or consolidate your topics. I'm throwing down some tough love here. You have twenty story topics on the first page of this forum alone, and with the exception of Star Pride, not one of them scratches a thousands words, and a great many of them are just intros to stories never touched again. I've got no problem with that (I never finish stories myself xD) but don't you think it's a good idea to wait to post things until you've got some meat on the bones?

If you do want to keep doing that, why not consolidate your writing into one topic? You'll probably get much more views that way as well, since people don't have to wade through twenty topics to see all the different bits. It's the same thing I suggested with regards to your poems. Does every single one of your eleven poems really need its own topic? Nobody will see them all if they're laid out like that. Consolidating them into one topic lets people easily read all of your work, and also stops the forum from getting clogged up. Just some friendly advice. :3

Well, the intro to the game was short. Also, I'm not the writer I used to be (I barely have patience for long stories now). However, I'm trying to change that.

That's fine, but do you see what I'm saying about following through on ideas vs. posting lots of short intros/chapter ones and then never returning to them? And putting your work in one place so its easier to see and takes up less forum space?

Ok, I'll do that for my other works. However, I did the intro this way because that's the way the game did it. The next part introduces us to Nala, Simba and the other members of the Star Lion team.

I'm aware of that (I love Starfox <3). All I'm saying is, you sort of have a tendency to post short beginnings of stories and then not continue them, so it might be a good idea to hold off posting things until you've written a decent portion of it and you know you're going somewhere with it. C:

All right. It's just that I've had a lot of real life commitments that cause me to forget about my writings. I apologize. I think I'm going to retire from fanfics after I finish this one.

No need for that! You've continued to improve with every fic you've written! You just need to see one through! ^^
