TLK/Jurassic Park Crossover


Ch 1

Mufasa and Sarabi, the billionaire owners of the genetics firm International Genetics Incorporated, or InGen, had accomplished their years-in-the-making dream. They had made an amusement park featuring not rides, but living, breathing dinosaurs created from ancient DNA.

They had not accomplished this dream alone, however. Many had helped them. Most prominent among them was their son Simba, a young paleontologist who had gained much interest from his professors and other experts for his paper on the parenting behaviors of carnivorous dinosaurs. Simba had helped his parents in creating ideal exhibits for the dinosaurs. Other individuals included Nala, a lovely paleobotonist who was the daughter of Mufasa and Sarabi's friend sarafina, Tojo, a former bird veterinarian who wished to be the first to write a veterinary handbook on dinosaurs, Ramses, a hyena from Kenya who served as the park’s game warden, Vitani, a lioness who served as Tojo’s assistant and Jempa, an African wild dog who served as the park’s main computer programmer.

The park was set to open late next year. However, things were not all perfect. Mufasa’s greedy brother, Scar, who was formerly an employee of InGen but had gone off to found rival genetics firm Biosyn, planned to steal from Mufasa. Along with his wife, Zira, he would steal dinosaur embryos from the park.

Thanks La'vie. I've recently rediscovered my love for Jurassic Park (it used to be my favorite film when it came out until TLK came out).

I especially love the 3rd one, since Spinosaurus was much bigger than T. Rex

My favorite was the first. It's the one I remember the most. Anyway, this story will be a mix of the original novel and the film in that it will have dinosaurs from both of those sources.

Thanks. I just can't give you an exact date as to when I'll make the next update, as I'm pretty busy. However, I can tell you that it will involve Simba and Nala returning to the island from a fossil dig and so on.
