This human is known as someone special, someone that connects to the safe future of the Pride Lands. Problem is who is this hero?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the middle of the Pride Lands, with the sun high in the sky, and the animals roaming around peacefully, there was only one human that was walking in the lands.
The broad shouldered, skinny teenager was wearing a short, rolled up sleeved red vibrant jacket with a hood on his head covering his face, bray long pants and black combat boots. Plus on both of his hands, he had on black leather gloves.
They were randomly chatting with the other animals about this weird creature, but all the human did was ignore the negative comments and kept walking. After a few hours with the sun still in the sky, he made it to a large waterhole. He got onto his knees and the only thing he did was stare at his reflection in the water.
That's when something was shining on his right hand and he brings his right arm up. On his right forearm, there was a gauntlet that was almost the length to his elbow. It was outlined in yellow, with some pieces purple while the gem in a circle part of the gauntlet was a shining green emerald that kept on going.
"What the," the boy asked curiously as he quiet up then looked at the bushes on the other side of the waterhole. That's when a lioness cub that was a month old with light orange fur and brown eyes came out, breathing heavily.
"Phew," she said. "Got away from those two idiots."
'Who's that,' the human thought in curiosity.
The boy watched the cub looked at her reflection in the water. That's when the female cub saw a butterfly and chased after it, not noticing the person on the other side of the waterhole. The boy kept on watching the cub trying to catch and pounced the flying creature, until he paid his attention to the bubbles at the edge of the waterhole.
He came closer to see what it was, then a hand came out of the water, grabbed the boy by his face and pulled him whole into the water. When the cub heard the splash, she stopped playing with the butterfly and turned to the waterhole and yelled out, "Is any one there?"
"Hello, Princess Kiara," a mysterious voice said behind the cub.
Kiara turned around and what she saw was a tall, broad shouldered, person wearing a black coat that was covering his head with a hood.
"Wh-who are you," she said half brave and half scared. "And how do you know me?"
"I have spies that know everything about you and your family, Kiara," he said in a cold tone.
"Spies," Kiara said curiously.
"People who watch others in disguise, but any who, I'm here for that. I'm here for one important thing."
"What is it? Maybe I'll be able to help you find it."
The man chucked a little, then said, "Silly little girl." With that, he held his hand up and darkness was coming from the ground, forming into this weird half human-half lion hybrid that were covered in complete darkness.
"What the," the Princess yelled out.
"You see, little girl," he said with his voice changing into a Russian accent. "I have my orders from the King. As much as I don't want to do this to you, I have to anyway."
With that, he snapped and the 8 lion-human hybrids charged at the defenseless cub. Kiara just stood there frozen with her eyes closed. When the hybrids were close to the cub, they something that was like a quick flash, and next thing they knew, they were frozen and they fell to the ground disappearing. Kiara opened her eyes and saw that nothing was there except for the man who was standing there, shocked and paralyzed.
The man got out of his shock ness, then sighed. "If you want things done yourself," he said as he took off his hood to his robe. "You have to do it yourself."
When he took out his robe, his face looked like a lion's face and he had a black mane around his neck with his dark blue eyes. Kiara was scared of what was going to happen, and then the hybrid with the weird accent ran towards to the cub at fast speed with his right hand-paw out with claws extended. When he was close to Kiara, he brought his claws down and was about to strike the closed eyed cub, but when he did, she was already gone.
"What the," he said while looking around. "Where are you, child!"
"Looking for us, Kion," a voice said in a cool voice.
The lion-human hybrid's eyes opened wide and when he turned around, his eyes opened even wider. It was the same teenager that got pulled into the water holding the lioness cub, but here's the weird thing, he was fully dried and his hood was off. He had white hair that went down to his neck, with his skin that's white and had green emerald eyes.
Kion's eyes were still opened wide, until they returned to normal size, and he had a grin on his face. "Well, well, well," he said calmly. "It's been a week ever since I've seen you," he paused then said, "Matumaini."
