I glanced at Simba as he used my famous overthrow move to conquer Scar. I smiled at him with pride at his accomplishment. Seeing Scar being viciously devoured by his once faithful hyenas, I turned my head in disgust; only such of an evil nature could ever consume something as disgusting as him. The piercing fire stopped suddenly as cool drips of rain pounded on our unprotected backs. Simba walked slowly towards Sarabi and nuzzled her fondly; next, he moved to me. His wet mane rubbed against my own damp fur and his hot breath breathed on my face. He looked into my eyes lovingly and gazed at them with fondness. This only lasted a few moments before Rafiki beckoned him to come close. Simba gave a short nod and padded his soaking paws to the monkey. Rafiki bowed in reverence, but Simba, being Simba, rejected this and quickly drew the monkey into a warm hug. The Mandrill was at first surprised, but he welcomed this with acceptance; he drew Simba back and placed his hands on Simba's shoulders.
"It is time," he whispered.
Again, Simba nodded and slowly rose his head to the large rock before him and decided. He rose one paw slowly and set it down on the wet and slippery mass of rock. One paw in front of the other, he continued very slowly up the rock as I and all the other lionesses' watched him with hope clearly in our eyes. Nothing in the whole world could explain my pride as I watched my love taking his place in the Great Circle of Life. He rose his head to the skies as I gasped in wonder. A cloud shaped as a kingly lion formed through the sky and she heard a deep rumble course through the skies as they were clearing. Simba pulled his head back and a smiled escaped his lips; I watched him and he brought his head back forth and roared with such ferocity that Pride Rock rumbled from the force.
This time, I smiled and roared back at him with the other lionesses following. This was my love, my mate, my king.

Please post below telling me what you think. I know it's kind of short, but I didn't have too much time and I just wanted to write something from a perspective.
