TLk: The Mysterious Human Hero Part 7
Kiara went traveling by herself, while Matu followed her a few miles away. That's when she walked onto a log, crossing the river under her, and then tumbles off it and she rolls into a cub. He gets up and snarling and growling at the female cub. He was a brown furred cub with a tuft of black hair on his head, green eyes and dark circles around his eyes.

"Who are you, Pride lander," the male cub asked Kiara, sounding angered.

Kiara kept silent, and when the male cub jumped to a spot, so did Kiara, mimicking him and keeping face to face to him. The cub growled evilly, until he stopped and asked in a very curious way...

"What are you doing?"

"My father told me to never turn your back on an Outsider," she responded, sounding brave at least.

"Do you always do what your 'Daddy' says," the cub mockingly.

"No!"

"Bet you do! Bet you're daddy's little girl!"

After the cub's teasing, he went to hopping on some logs across the river. "An outsider doesn't need anybody," he stated. "I can take care of myself!"

Kiara, who was in veneration, followed the cub onto the log. "Really," she said, already amused. That's when the log opened his eyes. Eyes!

Matu came down running until she was Kiara, a male cub and something overhead of them.

"Look out," he called out with all of his breathe as he jumped high into the air. The cubs didn't hear or see him, and male cub turned around to Kiara and notices the crocodile rising behind him with his mouth opened. Kiara turned around and saw it too, with the both of them screaming.

"Run," Kiara yelled and the two ran. Before the croc could've closed his mouth, being closed to crunching the cubs, Matu came from above and dived down onto the croc's mouth to close it for him, making him splash in the water. The two heard the splash, but didn't turn around to see who it was, and they just kept jumping from stone to stone until they made it to a pair of unmoving stones.

As for Matu, he got off the croc and followed the same stones, heading to the male cub and Kiara, which he landed on a giant stone behind the two. The cubs turned around and saw Matu, screaming in horror.

"Stop screaming," he said. "It's me!"

They stopped and Kiara smiled. "Matu," she called.

"Everything's going to be all right," he said to the cubs.

But that's when it turned out the rocks were more crocodile heads they were under. The cubs were afraid this time, and Matu was about half afraid and half brave. Kiara hopped onto a tree limb avoiding the swarm of crocodiles around the three, Matu was able to jump high enough with the croc's mouth opened to land on the same tree, but it turned out when he landed, the branch went between his legs and when he was about to fall off, he twisted his legs to the branch, sometimes sitting up to avoid croc bites. As for the other cub, he ran past the both of them.

"Hey," Kiara yelled. "What about us?"

"I'll distract them," he protested as he leaped from croc to croc. "Run!" When he made it to the last croc, the croc was diving down and the cub fell of the tail and into the water with the tail smashing down into the same place. Kiara saw what happened while Matu was busying sitting up to dodge most of the croc attacks, but that was his mistake because his legs got out of the knot and he was about to fall, but he grabbed the branch quickly, pulling up to avoid croc bites. As for the male cub, he came up; gasping for air and a croc was looming towards him, making him scream.

As Kiara and Matu were fighting back, the crocs got tired of them and headed for Kovu, which made the two notices.

"Look out," they called out in unison. The cub didn't listen since he was paralyzed in fear. Matu went over to Kiara fast, and grabbed her, putting her onto his back. "Hold on, tight," he called out as he hoped from crocodile to crocodile reaching the cub, while Kiara did as so and held on for her life. The male cub looked away from what was about to happen, until the gaping mouth became shut by Matu's feet.

"All aboard," he called to the cub as the cub crawled onto his arm and onto his back too. They climbed onto a nearby branch, reaching for surface quickly, until the croc grabbed the bottom of the branch, shaking it a little, and Matu just jumped, landing on the ground with the cubs on them, panting and resting for a few moments. That's when the two got off of Matu and went to the edge, while Matu followed then crawling onto his knees. What they saw was the crocs, angry at losing their meal.

"I did it..." the Princes called out. "I did it!"

"Hah," the male cub responded to the crocs.

Then he blew a raspberry at them, and then looked at Matu who was giving her a glare, and then she changed her mind.

"I mean... We did it."

Matu smiled, and then chuckled. "We sure did."

The three moved away from the edge, heading into the grasses of the savannah, safe and sound.

Meanwhile in the grasses, two silhouettes of lions were watching the three. One of them with blood red eyes and the other one had dark eyes, but on the other side was another silhouette of a lion, but behind it were other animals. Turns out this was not looking good at all.
