"When you first came here, you asked for judgement. And I pass it now!"
Kovu was horrified. Here he was, surrounded by tons of angry animals, and waiting for judgement by the king! What would Simba do to him? Why wouldn't he listen to Kiara? She was trying despratly to help him. Kovu loved Kiara with all his heart, and he couldn't bare the thought of seperating from her. His breathing grew harder and came faster. He knew what the king was about to say.
"Excile!" The words cut right through his heart, tearing it to peices. How could he? Kovu snapped out of his thoughts when he notices the lionesses advancing on him.
"No!" Came Kiara's voice. She sounded heartbroken. "Kovu!" He wanted to call out to her, tell her he loved her, but he couldn't say a word. He started to run, knowing that if he stayed he would be killed. All the animals were taunting him. The monkeys hit him with stones, the snakes tried to bite him, and birds swooped down and hit him with their beacks. He kepts running until he came to the middle of a stream. He looked back at Pride Rock. Everything was gone now. His family, his home, his love... all torn to shreds. He looked down at his reflection, but all he saw was Scar, starring strait back at him. He kepts running. When he looked back again, he thought he could still hear Kiara calling his name. He wanted to be with her so bad it hurt, but he knew he couldn't. Right now, he didn't think that he would ever see her again. So, tears forming in his eye's, he ran again, and this time he didn't stop. He kepts running long after Pride Rock escaped his vision. He only stopped when he was to exhausted to carry on.
"How could he do it?" He asked himself over and over. "What's going to happen to Kiara and the rest of the Pride?" He thought aloud. He almost turned to go back, but stopped. He wasn't welcome anymore. He got up and kept walking. He walked for a long time. It felt like he was walking in circles, but he didn't care. He couldn't put his thoughts together. He then found himself under the night sky, and standing on a white, dust covered hill. When he looked up, he saw a lioness. He hung his head. What was he thinking? That couldn't be her... or could it? When he looked up again, she was still there, head hung, almost like she was crying. He smiled. It was her. It was Kiara.
