This is a story about Simba and Nala's wedding in my RP. No bashing or flaming please.

A Royal Marriage


This is how it feels to be Simba, right now:


You sit at the edge of Pride Rock with the members of your pride, awaiting the sight of Nala. You continue to wait, until, finally, you see her. She takes her place next to you. The beautiful fragrance that she always seems to have wafts pleasantly through your nostrils as Rafiki begins to speak.

You take your vows, first you, then her. Rafiki raises the fruits on his staff over your heads and declares you two mates, and Nala the second princess of the Pridelands. You smile as the declaration is made. It is the happiest day of your life. The rest of your pride roars out in celebration, and the assembled throng of animals around Pride Rock cheers. However, your attention is focused solely on your new bride. As evening settles over the Pridelands, you join her for a little jaunt. Together, you run, stopping periodically to playfully pounce each other. Finally, exhausted, you return home to the den.

The first light of dawn brings joy. You awaken to the sight of the lioness you love and will always love. The sight of her sleeping, peacefully, seemingly without a care in the world, brings you happiness. You watch her, until, finally, your new princess opens her eyes. Never has nature made something so beautiful, you think to yourself. Nala moves in and licks your cheek. You return the gesture. You couldn’t be happier.


This is how it feels to be Simba, forever.
