Kopa and Vitani love?

Warning: This story does not mention Kiara, Kovu is mentioned once but that's it. This story is souly about Kopa and Vitani

Kopa had just woken up, Simba was sitting up at the top of priderock.
Kopa trotted up to his father and sat next to him with his chest puffed out, "So what kingly things shall we do today father?" Kopa said in cocky tone.
"I'm going to speak with Rafiki about your new siblings ceremony, I need to see if he has any idea when it will be born." Simba continued, "You can't come sorry son why don't you go hang out with your mother." Kopa looked down at his paws, "Ok dad."
Kopa walked down to his mother who was at the bottom of priderock,
"Good morning mother, what are you doing today, and whatever it is can I join in?" Kopa said.
"Oh, I'm sorry Kopa I'm leading the hunt today, maybe this evening we will play." Nala said before nuzzling Kopa and walking off with the others towards the grasslands. Kopa saw his father walking towards Rafiki's tree and ran to his side, "Father are you sure I can't come?" Kopa ask. "I'm sorry son, it's a king thing, maybe next time." Simba said before stopping, "Why don't you go play by the waterhole with Timon and Pumbaa?" Simba suggested before climbing up Rafiki's tree.
Kopa trotted over to Timon and Pumbaa, "Hey guys! Whatcha doing?" Kopa said in a playful tone. "Prince Kopa! How are you this morning." Pumbaa said before hugging the life out of
Kopa. "I'm good now let go." Kopa said softly trying to breath. Pumbaa let go and Timon
hopped on Kopa's back, "We are waiting for my Ma, I haven't seen her since your dad became king."
Kopa giggled, "Ok Timon, can I meet her?" Kopa said still giggling at the bug Pumbaa was trying to catch. "Timon, Pumbaa!" Ma said before running up to Timon and hugging him. "Hey Ma." said Timon and Pumbaa, "Who's this adorable cub?" Ma asked walking up to Kopa, "I'm Kopa, King Simba's heir." Kopa said in a cocky tone. "You are so cute!" Ma said pinching Kopa's cheeks. "Well I'll be going nice to meet you Ma!" Kopa said trying to get away from the smothering meerkat. Kopa ran towards the path Simba had marked for him then saw a tan cub across the creek playing with another cub (Kovu before he got his hair tuft and Vitani) Kopa
ran across the log that was resting from shore to shore, "Hi!" Kopa said looking at the two cubs, Vitani and Kovu growled at Kopa. "Woah, I mean no harm guys just wanna find someone
to play with.'' Kopa said backing up a tiny bit. "Who are you pridelander!" Vitani said to Kopa while Kovu kept growling. "I'm Kopa, and who might you two be?" Kopa asked.
"Kovu stop. I think he is ok." Vitani said looking at Kovu than Kopa, "I'm Vitani, and this is my brother Kovu." Vitani said to Kopa. Nuka saw that Vitani and Kovu were talking to a pridelander, Nuka's mane was not as bad as it was in SP and was only at a teenage state at this point but he did have termites. "Kovu Vitani you shouldn't be playing with that cub!" Nuka
said standing infront of Kopa and growling. Kopa ran off, "Hey Kopa come back!" Vitani shouted.
------- Two Weeks later-----
"Dad!" Kopa yelled running down to his father near the waterhole. "Hey Kopa, what are you up
to kiddo?" Simba asked.
"Can we hang out today? I haven't done anything kingly with you in weeks!" Kopa asked. "Sorry can't son I have to go and help the lioness's hunt, your mother is tired today she can't hunt so
I have to. Go play with Timon and Pumbaa." Simba said before crossing the waterhole to meet the lioness's at the grasslands.
Kopa sighed and walked down the path his father always wanted him to go by and saw Vitani hiding in a bush. "Vitani?" Kopa said. "What are you doing here you could get in trouble!" "I
knew you would come this way and I wanted to hang out with you." Vitani said coming out of the bush. "Well, it's ok as long as my father or anyone in the pride doesn't see us." Kopa
replied before pinning Vitani down and saying, "Wanna fight?"
Vitani growled and counter pinned Kopa before biting his ear. Kopa giggled, "That tickles!"
Kopa pushed Vitani off and stood up before tagging Vitani and shouting, "Tag your it!" Kopa ran and Vitani chased.
Zira had been looking for Vitani and saw her paw prints leading to the pridelands. She stalked in the tall grass and came out in front of Vitani and Kopa. Kopa cowered down and so did Vitani. Simba ran to Kopa's side with Nala and roared at Zira. Zira replied with another roar. Simba growled and then stood tall, "Zira. What are you doing in my lands. You know the penalty for being here." Simba looked at Zira with strong eyes. Nala still growled and looked
at Zira, "But the child does not!" Zira said looking down at Vitani. "Oh you still want your pound of flesh?" Zira said pushing Vitani towards Simba. "Take your cub and leave!" Simba said staring down at Vitani. Zira picked up Vitani and started to turn away. Simba picked up Kopa
and started to turn away. Vitani whispered, "Bye." Kopa looked back at Vitani, "Bye." Simba dropped Kopa on the grass softly and motioned for Nala to give them a minute. Zazu landed on Simba's shoulder. "Kopa, as prince you must be careful those outsiders are dangerous. If you
want to be king you must be careful." Simba said looking down at Kopa. The prince looked up at his father, "But father, she is good she would never try to hurt me!" Kopa said retaliating. "Maybe she is, but Zira is the one you must worry about." Simba said sternly looking at his son. Kopa put on a innocent face, "Kopa, your father is right you must be careful." Zazu said looking down at Kopa from Simba's shoulder. "You know Zazu I don't care what you say your a
stupid bird!" Kopa said running towards priderock. "Nice job Zazu look what you did. Go scout!
Now!" Simba said running after Kopa. "Yes Sire." Zazu said flying off. Kopa ran into Nala's arms and started to cry. Nala licked Kopa and asked, "What's wrong Kopa." Kopa sniffled and looked up at his mother, "Father is being a jerk." Kopa said., "Kopa, you know very well your father wants best for you." Nala said nuzzling Kopa. "Well maybe I don't want his advice." Kopa said nuzzling his mothers paw. "Kopa come back here!" Simba yelled running into priderock. "He's
gonna kill me!" Kopa said hiding under his mother's paws. Simba gestured for Nala to move her paws, Nala moved them and Simba picked up Kopa and carried him out of the cave. He carried Kopa to the waterhole. He pushed Kopa in front of the water to see a few alligators fighting . "Kopa, for your punishment your gonna stay here and resolve the fight, and your
gonna stay here until they stop fighting." Simba said knowing that the gators won't stop for
the prince. Kopa yelled, "Shut up!" At the gators who would not stop talking, "Stop fighting right now or else." Kopa said to the gators. They laughed and one of them replied, "Or else what? Your gonna call your father on us!?" The gator swam off. Kopa laughed, "That was easy." Kopa walked back to priderock and Simba dropped his jaw shocked that Kopa was already back, "See father, I'll be a great king!" Kopa said in a cocky tone and walked into the den and
fell asleep in his mother's paws.
--------- One year later---------
Kopa walked out of the cave and stood at the top of priderock. Simba walked up behind him, "So Kopa are you ready to take the kingdom over for a day?" Simba asked. "Yes, father, I'll take good care of the lands today." Kopa said turning around and looking at his father, his
dark brown mane resting on his shoulders and falling lightly over his eyes. "Ok son have fun."
Simba said walking back into the den and layed down next to Nala and fell asleep. "Prince Kopa! There is a fight going on near the waterhole!" Zazu said landing on Kopa's shoulder. Kopa ran down to the waterhole and roared to shut up the fighting gazelles. "Now what is wrong!" Kopa said looking at the gazelles." The lead male gazelle looked at Kopa, "This gazelle
won't share the water he keeps sticking everyone with his horns driving them away." The gazelle pointed his hoof towards the gazelle. "Well I'll take care of that gazelle easy, besides the lioness's are probably hungry anyway." Kopa said running at the gazelle. Soon enough he
was dragging the carcass into the radius of priderock. The lioness's ran out to eat. Simba came out of priderock and stood at the tip, he looked down at the lioness's eating and ran down to Kopa, "I thought there was a fight at the waterhole?" Simba said looking at Kopa. "Yes there was father but I took care of it." The prince answered. "Good job son." Simba said walking back up priderock back into the cave with the rest of the pride. Kopa ran down towards the
dirt path that he used to follow all the time as a cub. He saw Vitani and dropped his draw. She was as beautiful as she remembered. Kopa ran down the log and walked up to Vitani, "Hey Vitani. Remember me?" Kopa said puffing out his chest and looking at the lioness. "Kopa? Is that you?" Vitani said. "Yeah." Kopa said before Vitani started to nuzzle his neck. "I see your
happy to see me." Kopa said nuzzling Vitani back. "Well yeah I haven't seen you since we were cubs." Nuka saw Vitani and Kopa nuzzling and went up to them and pushed Kopa away from
Vitani. "Get away from my sister you stupid pridelander!"
Kopa growled and threw Nuka to the ground and pinned him. "I am the prince you do not touch me!" Kopa said growling in Nuka's face. Nuka got up and ran off to warn his mother.
"Kopayou have to get out of here I know Nuka well he will tell my mother and I don't want you to get hurt." Vitani said before licking Kopas cheek. "I will not leave unless you come with me. I like you alot and I just can't live without you." Kopa said. "You really have a heart of gold. But I can't. I like you alot too but your blue blood and I'm a red blood outlander. I'm sorry, just go." Vitani replied pulling away from Kopa. "Fine but I aware I will come back for you. And I will take you as my queen." Kopa said sweetly before trotting off. Vitani layed down in the dirt and looked down at Kopas paw prints. She put her paw inside of the large print and smudged it across the dirt to hide it. She stood and did the same with the rest. Vitani went back to the termite mound and awaited for tommorow so she could wait do her prince to come once again. Meanwhile Kopa was back at priderock and sat on the tip watching his land (well for the day) "Kopa. You did good today my son but where did you go?" Simba said sitting next to Kopa. The prince looked at his father, "I went to the waterhole for a drink
and I talked to the zebra who were hanging around there. Father why don't you get some rest." Simba nuzzled his son and trotted back into the cave and fell asleep next to Nala. Kopa saw the sun was dropping and the animals were returning home. The prince took a walk into
the grasslands he sat in the open and stared up at the sky, "Mufasa! Help me! I love Vitani! But why! Why! Can't they understand I want to be with her!" Kopa shouted into the skys. A figure morphed from the dark sky and clouds. Mufasas image took the sky with Sarabi at his side. "Kopa, be with the one you love. Unite." Mufasa said before disappearing. Sarabi just nodded with a proud smile. Kopa walked towards the outlands. Vitani was sleeping in her own termite mound and some at the echos of paw steps in the mound, she looked near the cave
expecting Nuka. She saw Kopa and gasped, "Kopa you're gonna get caught." Vitani whispered. "I don't care. A great king told me to be with my love meaning you and unite. So Vitani, will you be my queen?" Kopa asked sitting on his hind legs. "Kopa what about your pride?" Vitani asked. Kopa closed his eyes while saying this, "They will have to love you just as I." Kopa opened his eyes and stared into Vitanis beautiful blue eyes. "Yes Kopa. I love you too!" Vitani
said running and pinning Kopa down. She nuzzled his neck and Kopa pushed her off gently. The prince wrapped his tail around Vitanis and they walked back to the pridelands. When they got to priderock, Kopa let Vitanis tail go and looked around, he roared waking all the pride. "Vitani shall join our pride! She is my love and will be your queen!" Kopa said in a cocky tone before nuzzling Vitani. Simba stood and challenged his son, "No." Simba said.
Kopa growled, "Father I love her and she is the one I want to be with. So yes!" Kopa said retallisying once again. Nala stood and yanked simbas tail. He walked back to Nalas side and they looked up at the young couple. "Maybe my father thinks I am not ready. Maybe he thinks
blue bloods can not love the red. But maybe your king is wrong if he thinks these things." Kopa said looking at the pride. "Kopa is a strong sweet loveingnlion with a heart of gold. I love him and if you all don't believe we belong.I love Kopa!" Vitani said. Kopa giggled, "Vitani I think they get it now." Kopa whispered in Vitani's ear. "Alright son, if you really love her, I
shall consult with the great kings. If they approve, Vitani may join our pride." Simba said walking out of the cave. Nala stood and smiled proudly, she walked up to Kopa and nuzzled him. "I guess my mother approves." Kopa said looking at Vitani after Nala went out of the cave
following Simba. "So do the rest of you approve?" Kopa asked looking at the lioness's. One of the darker lioness's stood up and spoke for them all, "Kopa, we are all so proud of you. You are really going to be the king that your father says you will be. I am speaking for us all when I say we approve." The lioness sat back down with all of the others and smiled. Kopa smiled back at her and spoke, "Well thank you all."
Vitani nodded and said, "Thanks you guys." Kopa and Vitani walked out of priderock and sat at the grass and waited for Simba and Nala to return.
Meanwhile Simba was sitting under the stars and asked Mufasa, "Father! Kopa and Vitani want to be with each other but Vitani is one of them." Simba looked up waiting for a answer. Nala walked to Simba's side, "Did you get an answer?" Simba looked at Nala, "No the kings are as silent as stars." Simba answered. "Well maybe that means something. Kopa and Vitani are in love, you will never change that. I approve so why can't you?" Nala said before embracing
Simba. "Well, I guess we can let her stay in the pride. My father always gave a chance to others. But one slip-up and she is exhiled." Simba said walking back to priderock. Nala followed. Simba walked into the cave and Nala sat by his side. Simba saw that the whole pride was still up and coughed ready to make an announcement, "Vitani is now one of us." Simba said simply. "But, if she does anything against our prides rule Vitani will be exiled." Simba said lying back down with Nala and drifting to sleep. Kopa nuzzled Vitani and they slept in the darkness of the cave.
----The next morning------
Rafiki walked up priderock and met Simba at the tip, "Zazu came and got Rafiki. What is it you wanted Rafiki for sire?" Rafiki said after embracing Simba. "Rafiki my friend. Kopa has fallen in love. I wish for you to do a wedding ceremony tonight at sunset. Is that alright?" Simba asked. "Rafiki will do it. Tonight at sunset. Make sure Vitani gets a pink flower over her ear." Rafiki said walking away. "Rafiki! How did you know it was Vitani!" Simba shouted. "Your father told Rafiki!" Rafiki shouted. Simba looked up at the sky, "Thank you father. I guess this is your approval." Simba said walking into the cave he called Kopa, Nala and Vitani. Vitani
Kopa and Nala walked out, "What?" Nala said tiredly. "Well some one woke up at the wrong side of the bed." Vitani teased. "Well Nala you and Vitani are going to find a pink flower to put over her ear. Tonight Kopa and Vitani shall wed." Simba replied looking at his beautiful bride. "Finally. I will never have to be without you again!" Vitani said happyly nuzzling Kopa's fluffy mane. "Alright Vitani you and my mother should go and find the flower you like." Kopa said nuzzling Vitani back. "Ok you love birds. Vitani let's go." Nala said walking down priderocks side. Vitani followed. Kopa hugged his dad, "Thank you father." Kopa said letting go
of Simba. "Well anything for my son, I know how love feels it's a great feeling and I don't want you to be without your love. Tonight at sunset you will get married. And then a few days from now you will be the king." Simba said looking over the land. "Whoa father you don't mean that do you? You're so young. Why should you give up your land I can wait a few more years and so can Vitani, you really don't need to do that." Kopa stated. "Well my son, the time has come for you to take your rightful spot as king. Unless you think other wise." Simba said. "Well honestly I don't think I'm ready I think I need some more training." Kopa said. "Well if you feel that way, I guess we can can wait a few years.But, are you sure son?" Simba asked. "Well yeah dad, it will give Vitani and I some more time to bond and mother can teach her queen stuff." Kopa replied looking over the tip of priderock and looking at Vitani. "Well good luck with that your mother never likes to teach people it's not her thing. That's why she had so much trouble getting me to come and claim the pridelands." Simba said before laughing. "Well you'll just have to make her mister king." Kopa stated laughing with his father. "Well yeah I should, when Timon flys across the sky!" Simba said before cracking up. "Yo Zazu! Go look after Vitani for me." Kopa shouted tryng to watch out for his fiance. "Yes, sire!" Zazu shouted flying off. "Well I guess Zazu thinks I'm you father." Kopa joked. "Well you do sound like me. Your voice might be a little deeper though. I guess you get that from your grandfather." Simba replied. "Yeah I guess so." Kopa agreed watching Vitani from priderock Vitani and Nala diddn't go too far."
Meanwhile Nala and Vitani were looking for a flower.
"So Vitani you happy to be marrying Kopa?" Nala asked trying to make conversation. "Yes I am, I really love with him. Did you love Simba you know when you got married? Kopa said that you guys were betrothed so that you had to marry him either way." Vitani asked. "Well yes. But I loved him so much, as soon as I saw him in the jungle it was love." Nala replied. "In the jungle? You mean you're the one who brought Simba back from the jungle to take the spot as king?" Vitani asked. "Yes Vitani I did. I loved him so much even has cubs I know I had a crush on him. He was quite handsome." Nala said bragging about Simba. Vitani saw a beautiful pink flower and picked it up in her mouth gently, "I found the perfect flower." Vitani mumbled. Nala laughed and looked at it, "Yeah let's bring that back to priderock so Kopa can put it over your ear infront of the whole pride." Nala stated starting to walk back to priderock. Vitani followed. Once they were back Kopa walked up to Vitani and took the flower from her muzzle. "This flower is beautiful." Vitani stated. "Well maybe it is but I know it is not as beautiful as you." Kopa mumbled. Simba called the pride, "Come on out everyone." The lioness's walked out and circled around the young couple. Kopa put the flower in Vitani's fur above her ear, "I love you Vitani." Kopa said pulling his head away from Vitani's. "I love you too Kopa." Vitani said. Rafiki crawled up priderock and stood infront of the couple. He broke a fruit and smudged some juice across each of there foreheads. He took the fruit and put it so
that he could see each lions face of the couple, he pushed them together, "We are one." Kopa said looking at Vitani. Rafiki chuckled, "Yes. You two are. So when will they become king
and queen?" Rafiki said looking at Simba. "Well Rafiki why don't we let my father decide?" Simba suggested looking up at the darkening sky. "Wise choice my king." Zazu said landing on Simbas shoulder. "Well I'm not sure Zazu my father is the one I look to for everything. I never really got much king lessons as a cub so I look to him for them." Sikmba explained. Kopa and Vitani touched muzzles haapily and then walked up to the tip of priderock. Nala and Simba walked up next to them. Simba roared. Kopa roared. Nala roared, Vitani roared. Then they all roared showing the pride was now one.
