Prologue:

~Prologue~
After Zira's Death,Vitani and the other Outlanders were allowed to live in Pride Rock.A few months after that,Vitani found a mate.He was a few years older than her,but that didn't matter.He was called Hodari.He was very strong,and very brave.He had white fur,and a light brown mane.His eyes were dark brown.Every night,they went outside and looked up at the stars.Vitani missed Nuka and Zira,but she was happy living in the Pridelands...And with Hodari.
Six months after that,Vitani gave birth to a female Cub.She had orange fur and green eyes.Vitani called her Zahli.A male Cheetah was born a couple of days after that.He was called Kayro....

Part 1:Murder
Kiba and Zahli were playing in the long grass.They were playing Tag.
Kiba was chasing Zahli.Zahli was running as fast as she could,but Kiba was almost right behind her.
Zahli saw a big tree and ran towards it.
"What is she doing?"Kiba thought to himself.
Zahli climbed up the tree.Kiba wasn't a good climber,but Zahli was.
A young Cheetah Cub was hiding in the tree.
"Ummm...Hi..."The Cheetah said.
Zahli turned around and saw the Cheetah.
"Oh,Hello.I'm Zahli."Zahli said smiling.
The Cheetah smiled back at her.
"I'm Kayro."The Cheetah said.
"Nice to meet you."Zahli said.
"....Ummm...Why are you hiding up here,anyway?"Kayro asked.
"Oh,I'm just playing Tag with my Cousin.Why are you hiding?"Zahli asked.
A Hyena was standing at the bottom of the tree.
"COME DOWN OR ELSE,YOU LITTLE PEST!"The Hyena shouted.
"Thats why..."Kayro said.
"Oh no!Kiba is down there!"Zahli said in panic.
Kiba saw the Hyena and slowly walked away.The Hyena saw Kiba and growled at him.
"KIBA!RUN!"Zahli said.
Kiba ran away as fast as he could.The Hyena ran after him.
Kayro and Zahli jumped out of the tree.
"I'll get my Mom!"Kayro said.
"Ok.I'll get Grandpa Simba!"Zahli said.
Zahli ran towards Pride Rock.Kayro ran the opposite way.
Kiba was running towards the river.He stopped when he got to the water's edge,because there was some Crocodiles in there.They glared at Kiba.
Kiba looked behind him and saw the Hyena coming closer and closer.
He gulped and jumped onto one of the Crocodiles.He used the Crocodiles as stepping stones,so he could get to the other side of the river.
The Hyena didn't risk it.He growled and walked away.
Kiba thought he was safe,but a pack of Hyenas were hiding in the grass.They jumped out at him.
Kiba was surrounded by Hyenas.
Zahli,Simba,Kovu and Kiara were running towards the river.Zazu was flying ahead.
"I saw him by this river!"Zazu said.
They stopped when they got to the Water's Edge.Zazu flew over the river and landed on the other side.The Hyenas were gone.Kiba was unconcious.
A female Cheetah was sitting to Kiba.The poor Cub had alot of cuts,and he had lost alot of blood.He wasn't breathing...They were too late.
"A hyena wouldn't even try to cross this river.Did you attack him?!"Zazu asked.
"No.The Hyenas killed him.I chased them off,but I was too late..."The Cheetah said.
Zazu didn't believe her.Kovu managed to get across the river.He saw Kiba.
"Oh no...."Kovu said in a sad tone.
He looked at the Cheetah.
"You killed him,didn't you?!"Kovu asked.
"I didn't kill him!"The Cheetah said.
Kovu glared at the Cheetah.He didn't believe her aswell.
"You killed my son...You killed the future King....You and your family are now exiled!"Kovu shouted.
The Cheetah gasped.
"You can't do this!My son wouldn't survive out there!"The Cheetah said.
Kovu ignored her and walked away.Zazu followed him.

Part 2:Exile
Kovu,Kiara,Simba and Zahli were walking back to Pride Rock.Kiara was holding Kiba's body in her jaws.She was heartbroken.Her little Kiba was gone forever.Zahli was also upset.Her Cousin was gone,and her new friend had been exiled.Everyone thought his Mother killed Kiba,but she didn't want to believe it.
Vitani ran up to them.She saw Kiba and started to panic.
"Where's Zahli?!"Vitani asked.
Zahli was behind Simba.She ran up to her Mother.
"Mom! It's terrible!"Zahli said.
She suddenly burst into tears.
Vitani nuzzled Zahli and tried to comfort her.
Kayro was sitting on a rock.He was waiting for his Mother to come back.He saw his Mother coming and ran up to her.She looked really sad and worried.
"What's wrong?"Kayro asked.
"Kayro,we have to get out of here.We are no longer welcome in the Pridelands."His Mother said.
"But this is our home."Kayro said.
"Not anymore."His Mother said.
She picked up Kayro in her jaws and ran away.
Her Sister watched her run away.She sighed
"Oh Epesi.....What did you do?..."She said in a sad tone.
She turned around and walked away.

Part 3:Fluffy
Zahli was lying down in the cave. She was thinking about Kayro and Kiba. Was it all her fault?
Vitani walked up to her.
"What's wrong?" Vitani asked.
Zahli sighed.
"I miss Kayro and Kiba." Zahli said in a sad tone.
Vitani looked a bit confused.
"Who's Kayro?" Vitani asked.
"A Cheetah I met..." Zahli said.
"Oh...." Vitani said.
She wondered if it was the Cheetah cub that got exiled last night. Kovu told her about it after Zahli went to sleep.
Vitani tried to change the subject.
"Why don't you go outside and play?" Vitani asked.
Zahli sighed.
"I don't have anyone to play with..." Zahli said.
Vitani tried to think of someone that she could play with.
"Ummm.....What about Zazu?" Vitani asked.
After a few hours of searching, Zahli finally found Zazu. He was doing his morning report as usual.
Zahli smiled and shouted "HI FLUFFY!"
She always called him fluffy, because she thinks his feathers are really soft and fluffy. Zazu doesn't like that name, though. He always cringes when she calls him "Fluffy".
Zazu started to panic.
"Oh no. Not her again...." Zazu thought.
Zahli ran up to Zazu.
"Wanna play? "Zahli asked.
"No. I'm busy!" Zazu said.
He tried to fly away, but Zahli pounced on him.
"Come on, Zazu. Pleeeeeeeeeease." Zahli begged.
Zazu sighed.
"Oh, alright." Zazu said.
"Yay! Let's play Toss The Dodo!" Zahli said.
"Toss The Dodo?!?! I don't think that's- " Zazu stopped talking when he felt Zahli's jaws on his tail.
Zazu gulped.
Some Hyenas thought they heard someone screaming. They looked up and saw Zazu "flying" over them.
"Hey, that's Kovu's stooge." A Hyena with black fur said.
Zahli ran after Zazu.
Zazu was lying on the ground. He was right next to the border that divided the Pridelands and the Outlands.
"That was cool, Fluffy!" Zahli said.
"Uggghhhh....What a day." Zazu said in a weak voice.
"Are you ok, Fluffy?" Zahli asked.
Zazu got up and brushed the dirt off him.
"I'm not ok, thanks to you." Zazu said.
A whole Pack of Hyenas slowly approached them. They were licking their lips.
"Cubs are ok at first, but when they start walking around they also start causing chaos." Zazu said in anger.
Zahli saw the Hyenas.
"Ummm...Fluffy."Zahli said.
She poked Zazu with her paw. Zazu was still ranting.
"And those Hyenas are even worse! They're so brainless and brutal. I was almost eaten by one of their evil children! They disgust me!" Zazu shouted.
"Fluffy!!" Zahli said in panic as the Hyenas got closer.
They growled after they heard Zazu. Zazu heard them growl and looked at the pack.
"Oh my...." Zazu said in fear.

Part 4:We Meet Again
Zahli and Zazu slowly backed away from the Hyenas. The Hyenas licked their lips and got ready to pounce. Zahli suddenly ran past the Hyenas. Zazu watched her run into the Outlands.
"Zahli, come back! You're not soposed to go there!" Zazu shouted.
The Hyenas ran after Zahli. Zazu flew back to Pride Rock as fast as he could. He needed to tell Kovu.
Kayro and his mother, Epesi, were looking for food. There wasn't much food in the Outlands, so they were very thin and hungry. Kayro saw Zahli and the Hyenas.
"Mom, look!" Kayro said.
Epesi saw the Hyenas chasing Zahli.
"I won't let another cub die!" Epesi said.
She roared loudly and ran towards the Hyenas.
The Hyenas stopped.
"It's the Cheetah that chased us before!" One of the Hyenas said.
"Let's get her!" The leader of the pack said.
They all pounced on Epesi. She was very weak because she hadn't had anything to eat for a few days. One of them scratched her face and gave her a few scars on her cheek. The leader of the pack had her jaws around Epesi's throat.
Kayro watched in horror and fear. Seeing his Mother like that made him feel very scared.
Zahli was hiding behind a rock. She didn't want to look.
"Finish her!" One of the Hyenas said.
"Yeah! Do it!" Another Hyena said.
Vitani was sitting next to Kovu.
"I'm sorry, Kovu. I should have been keeping an eye on the cubs." Vitani said.
"It wasn't your fault, Vitani.....It was mine." Kovu said.
Kiara was lying down in the cave. She was crying. She missed Kiba very much.
Zazu flew up to Kovu.
"KOVU! IT'S ZAHLI! SHE RAN INTO THE OUTLANDS AND THE HYENAS ARE CHASING HER!" Zazu shouted.
"WHAT?!" Vitani said in panic.
Kovu and Vitani ran to the Outlands as fast as they could. They didn't want to lose another cub.......When they got there, the Hyenas were gone.
Epesi had been killed. She had a deep cut around her throat. Kayro was sitting next to her. He was crying. Zahli was sitting next to Kayro. She was trying to cheer him up.
"Everything will be ok...Maybe she's just sleeping....." Zahli said.
Kayro didn't say anything.
Vitani ran up to Zahli and snuggled her.
"I'm so glad you're not hurt!" Vitani said.
She was crying tears of joy.
Kovu slowly walked up to Kayro. He looked at Epesi's body, and then looked at Kayro.
"You're not safe in the Outlands anymore.....You are welcome in the Pridelands." Kovu said.
He felt sorry for Kayro. He had lost his mother at such a young age.
Kovu walked back to the Pridelands.
"Come on, Zahli." Vitani said.
She followed Kovu. Zahli looked at Kayro.
"Are you coming?" Zahli asked.
"Yeah..."Kayro said.
He looked at his mother for the last time...
"Goodbye Mom........" Kayro said in a sad tone.

A few days had passed. Kayro was still upset about loosing his mother. He never wanted to play, he didn't eat much, and he wouldn't even talk. Zahli was getting worried.... But Kovu was worried about something else....Kiara didn't want to have another Cub. No one could replace her little Kiba....But who was going to be the future king? Kovu only had one option left....Zahli would have to be his new heir to the throne! But there weren't any male cubs in the pride. The newborns were all female. She would have to find a rogue lion, or.....She could marry Kayro.
Kovu didn't like that idea. A Lioness marrying a Cheetah wasn't natural.
Vitani walked up to Kovu. Kovu looked very worried.
"Are you ok?" Vitani asked.
Kovu didn't even look at her.
"Vitani, if Kiara doesn't give birth to another cub, Zahli will be my new heir." Kovu said.
Vitani gasped. She never thought this day would come. She always thought Zahli would make a good queen, but she never thought it would really happen.
"Are you sure?!" Vitani asked.
"Yes. But if there aren't any young males in the pride, she will have to find a rogue....Or else the Cirle of Life will never continue.." Kovu said.
He walked away. Vitani looked at Kayro. He was just sitting on a rock in the distance, thinking about his Mother. She saw Zahli walking up to Kayro and smiled.
"I think it will continue..." Vitani said quietly.
"Kayro....Are you ok?" Zahli said.
Kayro sighed.
"Yes..Why?...Why do you have to know? Why wouldn't I be ok?!" Kayro snapped.
"I just wanted to know, that's all." Zahli said.
Kayro turned around and looked at Zahli.
"I'm sorry. ..I just feel....Angry..." Kayro said.
"It's ok. Are you angry at me?" Zahli asked.
"No. I don't why I feel angry....I just do." Kayro said.
"Oh.....Do you want to play? "Zahli asked.
Kayro was silent for a few seconds.
"....Umm.....Alright." Kayro said smiling.
"Yay!" Zahli said smiling.
"What do you want to do?" Kayro asked.
"Let's play with Fluffy!" Zahli said.
She ran off. Kayro followed her.
"Wait, who's Fluffy?" Kayro asked.
Kovu watched them play. He could tell that Zahli had special feelings for Kayro, which worried him even more. He couldn't let Zahli marry a Cheetah, but how was he going to stop her?......

As Kayro and Zahli got older, Kovu was getting more and more worried.....Kayro and Zahli were really close friends now. Kayro started to get a little crush on Zahli, but when he was about to tell her how he felt, he remembered that he was a Cheetah, and she was a Lion....
It was starting to get dark. Everyone except Kayro walked into the den.
"Goodnight, Kayro." Zahli said just before she went into the den.
"Goodnight." Kayro said.
Zahli walked up to Kayro and licked him.
"Come on, Zahli." Vitani called out.
Zahli smiled at Kayro, then walked into the den.
Kayro ran away as fast as he could. He didn't know what to do. Should he tell her how he feels? Or should he just run away and never go back? Kovu always glared at Kayro when he saw him with Zahli. He felt like he wasn't allowed to love her just because he was different.
He stopped and looked up at the stars. Zahli had told him that the great Kings of the past were up there. But she also told him that Kiba and Epesi were probably up there too.
"Mom, if you really are up there, please help me....I don't know what to do." Kayro said.

The sun started to rise. Kayro was waiting outside the den. He was up all night thinking about Zahli.
Two Hyenas were sitting in the tall grass outside Pride Rock.
"Why are we this close to Pride Rock?! If a Lion sees us here-" He got interrupted by the other Hyena.
"We can kill them while they're sleeping!" The other Hyena said.
She was the Leader of the pack. She had dark green eyes,black fur, and white hair. She was the biggest, and the strongest in the pack. She was also Shenzi's daughter. Her name was Erevu.
Kayro heard the Hyenas.
"Who's there?!" Kayro shouted.
The Hyenas ran off. Kayro followed them and pounced on Erevu. No one could out-run a Cheetah.
Kayro looked at Erevu.
"I know you......You're the one that killed my mother!!" Kayro shouted in anger.
Erevu smirked.
"Ah, yes. I remember you. You were that weak little cub. How did you manage to survive?" Erevu asked, still smirking.
Kayro growled.
"Kovu let me live in the Pridelands." Kayro said, trying to control his anger.
"Oh, the one that exiled your mother?" Erevu asked.
"What are you talking about?" Kayro asked.
"Kovu exiled your mother. That's why you had to live in the Outlands." Erevu said.
"I don't believe it! Mom never did anything wrong!" Kayro shouted.
"You're right. She didn't. He thought she killed his son, but she didn't. My brothers did!" Erevu said.
"What?!" Kayro said.
"It's true. Admit it, if he didn't exile your mother, she wouldn't even be dead!" Erevu said.
Kayro roared in anger.
"What are you going to do now?" Erevu asked smirking.
"Kill you!....And your brothers!" Kayro shouted.
Kayro's roar woke Zahli up. She walked out of the den and saw Kayro walking towards her. His paws had fresh blood stains all over them. His fangs had blood on them too, but his mouth was closed, so she couldn't see them.
Zahli saw the blood.
"Are you ok?!" Zahli asked.
Kayro calmed down put on a fake smile.
"Oh, good morning." Kayro said.
Zahli thought he was acting a bit strange.
"Ummm....Good morning, Kayro. Where have you been?" Zahli asked.
"Oh, uhhhh....I was hunting. I was getting hungry, so I got some early breakfast." Kayro said.
Zahli could tell he was lying.
"Ok...Ummm...Want to watch the stars with me tonight?" Zahli asked.
Kayro smiled.
"Sure." Kayro said.
The sun started to set. Everyone else was asleep. Zahli was sitting in the tall grass near Pride Rock.
She thought she smelt some blood and followed the scent. The scent lead her to Erevu's dead body. It was almost ripped in half. Some of it had been eaten. Zahli screamed in horror and shock. She didn't expect to see that!
She took a deep breath and calmed down after a few minutes. She thought about the blood on Kayro's paws.
"....Did Kayro do this?" Zahli said.
Kayro heard her scream and ran up to her.
"Zahli! Are you alright?!?!" Kayro asked in panic.
"Yeah...I'm fine." Zahli said.
Kayro sighed in relief.
"That's good." Kayro said.
"Come on. Lets find a nice place to sit..." Zahli said.
The stars were really bright and pretty. Kayro and Zahli were lying next to eachother.
"Zahli..." Kayro said.
"Yeah?" Zahli asked.
"I....Ummm....I like you....But I don't just like you. I like you in a...special way....." Kayro said.

Zahli smiled. She about to answer him, but then she saw a shooting star.
"Kayro! Did you see that?!" Zahli said in excitement.

Kayro woke up and yawned. There were a few clouds in the sky. It looked like it was going to rain soon.
He got up and walked back to Pride Rock.
Kovu was having an important discussion with Zahli.
"Unfortanutly, there aren't any young males in the Pride. You will have to look for a rogue. Remember, a good king is a wise king. Don't pick someone foolish." Kovu said.
"I don't need to look for a rogue. I already know who I'm going to pick." Zahli said.
Kovu glared at Zahli.
"You can't pick Kayro. He's not a Lion!" Kovu snapped.
Zahli growled at Kovu.
"I don't care. I still love him!" Zahli snapped.
Kovu growled back and got ready to strike, but then Vitani ran up to Zahli and stood infront of her.
"She's MY daughter! Not yours! You can't make her pick someone she doesn't love!" Vitani shouted.
Kovu glared at Vitani. Vitani could see madness in his eyes. He was starting to become like Scar!
"Kovu, the power is getting to your head! If you keep acting like this, you will become just like Sca-"
Vitani was interrupted when Kovu scratched her face.
She had three claw marks on her right cheek. Zahli gasped.
"Are you ok, mom?!" Zahli asked.
"Find Kayro and run away. If Kovu keeps this up, it won't be safe! He might kill you both!" Vitani said.
Zahli looked at Kovu. When she looked at him, she couldn't see Kovu's face. She could only see Scar's face. Vitani was right. He was becoming like Scar!
"I love you, mom." Zahli said, just before she ran away.
Kayro saw Zahli running towards him.
"Kayro! We have to run!" Zahli shouted.
Kayro was confused.
"Why? What happened?" Kayro asked.
"It's Kovu! He's acting like Scar! Mom said he might kill both of us if we don't run away!" Zahli said.
Kayro didn't want to run. He wanted to stand up to Kovu, but he could tell Zahli was scared, and Zahli was the only thing that was important to Kayro.
"....Alright. Let's go!" Kayro said.
Kayro ran towards the Outlands and Zahli followed.
Kiara heard some growling and snarling, and walked out of the den. She saw Vitani and Kovu fighting.
"What about Kiara?! If she saw you acting like this..."
"I don't care about Kiara! As long as I'm the king, that's all that matters!" Kovu snapped.
Kiara could feel her heart breaking. It felt like someone ripped it in two, then stabbed it several times. She could tell he was becoming like Scar. Corrupt, evil, power hungry....
She pounced on him and pinned him to the ground with her front legs.
"Stop!" Kiara said in an angry tone.
"Don't get in my way!" Kovu said.
He kicked her with his back legs. Kiara almost fell over the edge of Pride Rock.
Vitani tried to pounce on Kovu, but Kovu ducked and made her miss. Vitani almost fell over the edge, but she managed to cling on with her front paws. Kovu smirked and walked up to edge.
"No! Kovu, don't!" Vitani said in panic.

Kayro and Zahli had been staying in the Outlands for several days. They were both starving. The only animals that they could hunt out there were mice, bugs and the occasional bird.
Kayro was feeling guilty. He felt like it was all his fault.
Kayro sighed.
"Zahli, we need to talk." Kayro said in a serious tone.
"What's wrong?" Zahli asked.
"If I didn't climb up that tree and make that Hyena angry, Kiba wouldn't have been killed. If I just ran away from Pride Rock and never came back, Kovu wouldn't have gone crazy, and if Kovu was still sane, you wouldn't be starving right now. You would be in the Pridelands, living a happier life.....You should just forget about me....And move on......We can't be together. I'm a Cheetah, and you're a Lion. It's impossible! It won't work!" Kayro said.
Zahli rubbed her head against Kayro's, and then licked him on the cheek.
"It's your fault. Kovu probably went mad because he lost his son, and he probably blames himself for it." Zahli said.
It suddenly started to rain a bit.
Kayro sighed.
"But Kiba's death is still my fault.....My mother's death....IS ALL MY FAULT!!!" Kayro shouted.
He roared in anger. The rain started to fall alot heavier.
"Don't blame yourself. Your mother is probably watching us right now, thinking the same thing. Don't blame yourself, Kayro." Zahli said.
Zahli purred and rubbed her head against his chest.
"I'm glad I met you." Zahli said.
Kayro calmed down and took a deep breath. The rain was still falling, but it wasn't as heavy. He looked up at the dark sky and thought he saw his mother watching him.
"Mom?..." Kayro asked.
A cloud that looked like exactly like Epesi was looking down at Kayro.
"Kayro, I don't blame you for my death, and I never will. I will always be proud of you...And I will always love you. You are my son. I will never hate you or blame you for anything." Epesi's voice echoed.
"I love you too, Mom." Kayro said.
The cloud suddenly disappeared. Zahli looked at Kayro and smiled.
"I told you she was up there." Zahli said.
Kayro smiled back at Zahli.
"Zahli, we shouldn't let anyone tell us who we should love, or who we should be with. Maybe this relationship WILL work." Kayro said.
Zahli nodded.
"But we can't run away forever." Zahli said.
She looked towards Pride Rock. It was really far away, but she could still see it.
Kayro gulped.
"Yeah....." Kayro said.
He knew he would have to face Kovu. He wanted to face him! But, he knew that Kovu was alot stronger, and Kayro was weak from hunger.....Just like his mother was..

Vitani walked out of the den. Kovu walked up to her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Kovu asked.
"I'm going to hunt." Her tone suddenly changed into a sarcastic one. "If that's ok with you, 'your majesty' " Vitani said as she walked away.
Kovu growled, but he let her go. Zira's brainwashing stopped him from becoming a true Pridelander. His Outlander instincts were still apart of him, and so was Zira. He loved Kiara, but his insanity made him hate her....
Vitani was only a few miles away from Pride Rock when she spotted a Cheetah, and a Lioness with a dark orange pelt.
"Zahli!" Vitani said.
She ran up to Zahli and nuzzled her.
"I'm so glad you're ok! I was so worried about you!" Vitani said.
"Mom, Kayro's gonna fight Kovu for the throne. Is he still crazy?" Zahli asked.
Vitani nodded.
"He's trying to stop me and the other lionesses from going anywhere. He won't even let Kiara leave the den." Vitani said.
"That's terrible!" Zahli said.
"Zahli, you should stay here with your mother. I can't let you get killed." Kayro said.
He walked off.
"Kayro, wait a minute!" Vitani said.
Kayro turned around and looked at Vitani.
"Kovu is very strong. He's been trained to kill eversince he was a cub...Be careful." Vitani said.
"I will." Kayro said.
Zahli ran up to Kayro and licked him.
"I love you.." Zahli said.
"I love you too." Kayro said.
He ran to Pride Rock. Zahli watched him run, and hoped he doesn't get killed.
Kovu saw Kayro coming and glared.
"Kayro.." Kovu snarled.
Kovu looked up at Pride Rock saw the dark lion standing there, waiting...
Vitani walked out of the den. Kovu walked up to her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Kovu asked.
"I'm going to hunt." Her tone suddenly changed into a sarcastic one. "If that's ok with you, 'your majesty' " Vitani said as she walked away.
Kovu growled, but he let her go. Zira's brainwashing stopped him from becoming a true Pridelander. His Outlander instincts were still apart of him, and so was Zira. He loved Kiara, but his insanity made him hate her....
Vitani was only a few miles away from Pride Rock when she spotted a Cheetah, and a Lioness with a dark orange pelt.
"Zahli!" Vitani said.
She ran up to Zahli and nuzzled her.
"I'm so glad you're ok! I was so worried about you!" Vitani said.
"Mom, Kayro's gonna fight Kovu for the throne. Is he still crazy?" Zahli asked.
Vitani nodded.
"He's trying to stop me and the other lionesses from going anywhere. He won't even let Kiara leave the den." Vitani said.
"That's terrible!" Zahli said.
"Zahli, you should stay here with your mother. I can't let you get killed." Kayro said.
He walked off.
"Kayro, wait a minute!" Vitani said.
Kayro turned around and looked at Vitani.
"Kovu is very strong. He's been trained to kill eversince he was a cub...Be careful." Vitani said.
"I will." Kayro said.
Zahli ran up to Kayro and licked him.
"I love you.." Zahli said.
"I love you too." Kayro said.
He ran to Pride Rock. Zahli watched him run, and hoped he doesn't get killed.
Kovu saw Kayro coming and glared.
"Kayro.." Kovu snarled.

Part 11:The Fight For The Throne
Kayro walked up to Kovu, but he didn't go too close.
"Kovu, I challenge you to a fight for the throne! If I win, I get to become King, but if I lose....I'll live in the Outlands until the day I die." Kayro said.
Kovu smirked.
"Very well." Kovu said.
He growled and tried to pounce on Kayro, but Kayro managed to dodge. Cheetahs were alot faster than Lions.
Kovu landed near the edge. He tried to get back up, but Kayro attacked one of back legs. Kovu managed to turn around and scratch Kayro's neck with his sharp claws. Kayro let go of Kovu's leg and roared in pain. Kovu pounced on Kayro and put his paw on Kayro's neck so he couldn't breathe.
Kayro kicked Kovu's chest with his back legs and made Kovu fall backwards.
Kiara heard the fighting and ran outside. She saw Kovu and Kayro fighting eachother and gasped.
"Kayro?!" Kiara said in shock.
She thought Zahli and Kayro would never return.
Kayro got up and tried to get his breath back. The rain started to fall really heavily and made the ground slippy and wet.
Kayro tried to bite Kovu's throat, but Kovu quickly moved out of the way and got bitten on his front leg instead. Kovu roared in pain and clamped his jaws around Kayro's throat. Kovu tried to throw Kayro over the edge, but managed to hold onto the edge. He looked down and gulped.
Kovu walked up to the edge. Kayro's paws were starting to slip off. He looked up at Kovu with fear in his eyes. Kovu dug his claws into Kayro's paws and smirked.
"No...." Kayro said in fear.
He didn't want to die and leave Zahli behind. He wanted to live with her, have cubs with her, grow old with her...He wanted to love her for the rest of his life.
Zahli and Vitani ran up to Pride Rock and saw Kovu and Kayro at the edge.
"No!!! Kovu, please!!!Don't do it!!!!" Zahli shouted.
Kovu was about to throw Kayro off the edge, but then the rain suddenly stopped and the clouds cleared. The sunlight was shining above Pride Rock.
Kiba's spirit appeared behind Kovu. Kiba looked like a fully grown adult Lion. His black mane almost covered his whole body. Kovu turned around and gasped.
"Kiba?!" Kovu asked in shock.
Kiba looked at Kovu with an angry expression on his face.
"Father, you have become corrupt, just like Scar. The Great Kings are very disappointed in you." Kiba's spirit said.
Kovu realised what he had done. He had become just like Scar.
He pulled Kayro back up and walked up to Kiara.
"I'm so sorry...I failed you..." Kovu said.
Kiara licked Kovu and nuzzled him.
"It's ok. I forgive you." Kiara said.
Epesi's spirit appeared next to Kayro.
Kayro smiled.
"Mom!" Kayro said.
Epesi's spirit nuzzled Kayro.
Kovu walked up to Kayro.
"Kayro, I'm sorry. I'll let you marry Zahli....Promise me that you will be a good king." Kovu said smiling.
Kayro smiled at Kovu.
"I promise." Kayro said.
Epesi and Kiba's smiled at Kayro and spirits disappeared.
Zahli ran up to Kayro and licked him. Vitani walked up to Kiara and Kovu.
"We can finally be together." Zahli said.
She snuggled up to Kayro.
Kayro licked Zahli back.
Vitani and Kiara smiled.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Kovu said smiling.
Zahli smiled at Kayro.
"Go on. You're king now." Zahli said.
Kayro walked up to the edge of Pride Rock and looked up at the sky. He saw his mother smiling at him.
"I'm so proud of you." Epesi's voice echoed.
Kayro smiled and roared. Everyone else roared with him.
Kayro....Was now the King.
