Plot: During Kopa's reign, everything was peaceful... Too peaceful to be true.
A lion pride from another kingdom decided to live in the Pride Lands. What are their intentions?

It was dawn again. It was time for the night to turn into day as always. The sun appeared in the horizon to lighten the Pride Lands once again. To Kopa, that was the most precious time of the day. Sunrise. As his father had taught him, the sun rises and sets, just like Kings. Kopa remembered that lesson very well. One afternoon, the sun set and took his father with him, which meant that the next day Kopa would rise as the new King. All these memories passed through Kopa's mind as he got our of the pride's den and looked at the sun rising. Kopa yawned and after thinking about it, he decided to go to the top of Pride Rock. As he reached the top, she stared at his kingdom with awe, like it was the first time seeing the magnificent view of the Pride Lands from the top of Pride Rock.

As Kopa stood there, he thought how life would have been for him if he hadn't come back. He'd still live far away as an outcast, afraid to even think about coming back. But it was all over now. He could finally have peace, without the fear of being attacked. But as he thought of that, something made him completely change his mind about being safe...

He immediately thought of the lion pride that had moved to the Pride Lands just a day ago. To Kopa, stranger prides were no good... During his life as an outcast, stranger prides meant grave danger for him due to the fear of another male taking over. But no, Kopa was different. He wouldn't strike without a good reason to. He was going to ask the leader of the stranger pride what they're doing in the Pride Lands and if they have good or bad intentions.

As the sun soon revealed itself into the pride's main den, Zach squinted his eyes and yawned as he took his first few blinks of the day. He lifted himself up and stretched out his front legs and took a glimse of his sleeping mother and Smiled sweetly and padded towards his father. He found him on the top of pride rock, gazing as he assumed and placed himself hhappily next to his father. "What are you looking at dad?" Zach asked curiously.

Kopa was deep in thought when he heard his son talking and immediately looked near him, to find him sitting next to him.

''Oh, nothing, son. Just looking at the sun while thinking...'', Kopa told Zach and then, something horrible came into his mind. What if the other lion pride attempted to kill his son? He had to warn him about it immediately.

''Zach, today I want you to stay close to Pride Rock. There's something dangerous in the Pride Lands and I don't want you to get hurt. I'll deal with it.'', the King said as he waited for his son to answer.

"Oh, okay Dad, but what will i do with Jali?" He looked up towards his father. Jali Was one of his closest and most loyal friend. He Wasnt much like Zach, he had ear tufts which were unsual within the pride, but he didnt mind. They always were out on some sort of adventure, strolling through the pridelands and just playing tag. Zach looked out at the view of his fathers kingdom before looking up for his reply.

Kopa frowned as soon as he heard his son's answer and looked away. Zach was right, but he couldn't let anyone get hurt. He knew how important playing is to cubs, as he had almost no cubhood at all. But the only thing that came into his mind was babysitting.. He looked at his son once again.

"You're allowed to play outside as long as you're close to the pride... unless you want an adult to be babysitting you. I'm sorry Zach, but I have no other choice if I want you to be safe.", Kopa said with a kingly voice.

"You mean Zazu?, no thanks, hes kinda annoying to be honest.. I promise me and Jali will stay close to the pride." Zach said looking up towards his father. He couldnt stand Zazu at times, with all his blabbering on and all, but he was just Zazu as they might say, Annoying, Wise and more. Zach thought he'd be better off without a baby sitter, he was a cub, and he felt he could take care of himself.

Kopa nodded at his son and smiled. He didn't want him to get into any trouble, especially now that there's a stranger lion pride in the Pride Lands. He was about to stand up and leave, when he remembered something important about Zach.

''Oh, and unfortunately, you'll probably won't have any lessons for at least three days, I'm gonna be busy...'', he told him.

Just as Zach was going to head off his father told him something. "Hmm, why is that dad?" Zach was puzzled, he had never been without a lesson for quite some time. He loved to learn about being king.

Kopa remained silent for a few seconds without speaking..

''Because there's gonna be an uproar with the new pride around, especially if they're menaces.'' Kopa couldn't imagine the chaos the new pride could cause to the Pride Lands, but was exiling them the right thing? Kopa decided to end the subject.

''But don't you worry, just wait for the lionesses to wake up, and your friend, too.'', he said before standing up and going to the bottom of Pride Rock.

"Oh.. well okay Dad" Zach smiled a little. "Im gonna go check on Jali now" Zach said as he ran off towards the main den. He saw his mother, Sound asleep and not far from her, was Jali, He was kicking the air in his sleep. Zach chuckled and padded into the den tip-toeing past all the other lioness and cubs. "Psst, Jali!" Zach whispered in his friends ear, "Come on! lets go play!" Zach grinned.

Jali was having quite a pleasant dream, Chasing hyenas into the plains, Chasing bugs with Zach. As Zach rubbed his tummy, he rolled on his side. Jali yawned and scratched his chest while looking up sleeply at Zach. "Where?" Jali blinked. He got up and stretched.
