"The river is ancient. One of the oldest owl families here are in charge of caring for the river and other areas on this mountain. All are their properties, as they were the first to have discovered this place."

"So, the river remembers those who have come upon it and who have taken from it?"

"Yes, according to the members of the first family who found it. The river knows everything, they keep saying."

"So, when and how did you come upon the river? Did you deliberately seek it out or did it find you?"

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

"I arrived a few weeks back, so it wasn't too long ago that I found myself on this mountain. It was the river calling me, something that I felt in my soul. The owl community made me feel welcome right away."

"So, you followed the owls? I can't decide if that's the freakiest thing ever or the coolest. Maybe a bit of both."

"The owls greeted me as soon as I made my way up the mountain. I found it cool, and these owls are like the mountain's sacred guardians. All of them would be happy to have you here."
