Reunion [PRIVATE: TheLastLion and Abyssal_S]

[Stormy]

Flash's breathing becomes shaky. "I killed them." He says straight out. "Not because I wanted to. I was forced. It was part of my training when they were preparing me to kill Sadie. They wanted me to practice. I managed to get out of killing Destiny, so that's why she's still around." Flash's voice cracks. "I think about it everyday, I try not to, but it always comes back. Knowing I'm the reason my siblings never had a chance."

[TheLastLion]

"Did... did they know you were assigned to kill them?"

[Stormy]

“No. Besides Destiny, because she saw most of it. Another one had found out, but by then it was too late. Even when they tried to make me stop or fight back, I had to do it anyways. I had to see the fear in their eyes each time, their desperation. Even the ones that I was instructed not to kill instantly. Some had to have a slow death and bleed out."

[TheLastLion]

"I... I had no idea."

[Stormy]

Flash stares off for a few moments as he recalls the fear in his siblings. "That's why Destiny mentioned me saving her once. She was the last one." He wipes one of his eyes with his paw and looks away. "Yeah. That's it."

"So, perhaps we both misjudged."

[Stormy]

Flash does a very light shrug as he continues to look out in the distance and the stars. "I'm not gonna sleep in the cave tonight. I'll find somewhere else to sleep." Flash says quietly. He still wasn't exactly fond of what had transpired earlier that day, and he felt the need to distance himself.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to."

[Stormy]

A silence follows as Flash continues to watch the night sky peacefully. "D-..Did you really tell my mom everything?" Flash asks Kayla, his head slightly turned to the side to see Kayla in his peripheral vision.

"Hopefully tomorrow will be less taxing on us."
