[Open] Finding Kovu

Kovu has disappeared, only some blood in the spot where he was last seen. Simba, Nala, Sarafina, Sarabi, and Kiara (others if you want to play them) must find him.

The beginning setting will be pride rock. It's a dark and cold night, but no clouds. The pride has noticed Kovu is gone, only a pool of blood in the spot where he had been laying moments before. The smell of strange animals is also there.

I suppose I'll start 8D

It was a dark and frigid night. All was quiet over in Pride Rock whilst the pride slept peacefully, or so it seemed. There was one lioness, who was not quite so young anymore, that was feeling restless and was not taking part in the slumber that the rest were. Sarafina felt as though something was terribly wrong, yet she couldn't place it. She walked softly around the den, checking on her loved ones one by one to make sure they were alright. Suddenly she felt something damp on her paw. She looked down and noticed that she had stepped in a small pool of dark liquid, and it definately didn't look like water. She bent down and sniffed to see what it was. A metallic smell penetrated her nose and she recoiled, her green eyes growing wide with fear and worry. What she smelled was blood, and it had a mixture of smells hovering over it, including Kovu's.

She quickly went over to where her daughter and Simba lay and lightly nudged them awake, "Simba, Nala, something is terribly wrong. Kovu is missing and I found a pool of blood over by where he usually sleeps. There seems to be an air of foul play in our midst."

Simba awoke as Sarafina nudged him "What?" he said as his eyes opened slightly, he then regestered what Sarafina had said as i took a while as he had just awoke "where is Kiara" he asked, worried that his daughter may be gone too, he then padded over to were Kovu always slept and saw the pool of blood on the ground "Sarafina, summon the others, we have to find him" he said as he lay down and thought of what the others would think of him "how could this happen, and right under my nose" he thought

Nala then woke up from her mothers call. "What? He is? Where's Kiara? Does she know?" Nala asked her mother as she sniffed around. All she saw was the blood. "I hope he's not in trouble..."

Luke yawned as he looked around the pride lands, it was his midnight walk, He trotted past Pride rock, confusion hitting him as he heard voiced, He looked down and seen some dark paw prints on the floor..His slender body lowering to the floor, he sniffed the air, and licked his lips.

“That smells like blood” He smirked and stood back up, walking off to find what was causing such good smell.

Adhabu sighed as he watched a mouse trying to scamper around in front of him. His amber eyes narrowed as he quickly grabbed the mouse in between his paws. From where he lay, he opened his paws to reveal the frightened mouse. "Now why would you just try to make a break for it like that? I am bigger, stronger, and wiser then you could ever try to be. Confidence is one thing, but conceit is another..." Adhabu chuckled as he opened his mouth wide and prepared to devour the mouse. It was then he heard the flapping of wings.

"A-Adhabu! Adhabu! The king! He has vanished!" Zazu exclaimed as he arrived at the entrance of Scar's old den. Adhabu snorted as he looked over at Zazu from within the den.

"Not even going to say hi? Always got to be about Kovu doesn't it?" Adhabu chuckled darkly.

Sarafina looked at her daughter, "Kiara's fine, she's still asleep." She looked over to where her granddaughter lay, oblivious to what was happening. She looked back to Nala, "do you suppose we should wake her and let her know?"

"no let her be, and Sarafina enough chit chat and Summon the others" Simba demanded "i want every lion and lioness in this pride looking for him" he then turned to his mate "except you, you stay here and keep watch over Kiara, you will be the best one to break the news when she does get up" he told her, he nuzzled his mate and licked her over her muzzle, he then left the den and walked out onto the promontory of pride rock and looked over his lands "Kovu were are you" he whispered, knowing that he wouldnt get an answer he started to walk down the side of pride rock when he saw someone standing at the bottom "hey who is there" he shouted to the other lion

Kaili woke from her nightmare with a start. what is going on? she thought. Everyone was in a bustle and were very confused. then she heard the news from a passing lioness. Kovu was gone. Kaili suddenly panicked as she got up. How can our king be missing?she wondered. Kovu was the one who found her half dead in the desert and warmly welcomed her to his pride. She would do whatever it takes to help find him and headed towards Nala for instructions.
