[Open] Mufasa Era

[Maleficent]

Okay, so I wanted to start an RP and so here it goes. lol I was thinking this could be during the time period where Mufasa, Scar, and everyone of that time period was growing up. I'm not really going to put a "plot" with this because I find those confusing and think that character development should be done however you want. Also, this isn't going to be like a long RP with lots of paragraphs per post. Just kind of a short one. I'm including a list of characters I'd like to have in it, but you're allowed to add an OC if you'd like!

So, I'm thinking we can go ahead and start. Scar and Sarabi can always come later. Anyways, you can just jump in with your characters and we'll go from there. ...Does someone else want to make the first post? I'm never good at starting things out. Erm, okay, I'll start.


Zira was watching a little bug creep across a rock. It was a sunny day in the pride lands and Zira was taking advantage of it. She enjoyed exploring and watching the other cubs. She really talked to them though. Zira had lost both her parents and kept mostly to herself. From a distance, she could see some other young cubs. She chose to ignore them, but couldn't help but glance over in their direction every few minutes or so.

[Misiziri]

I do not play Uru.

Ahadi watched carefully as Adanya and Folka punced on each other, splashing in puddles from the rain 2 days earlier. Giggling and running around wildly, the children were in their own little world. (Adanya is from Ahadi's pride and after her mother died, he acts as though he is her father)

[Maleficent]

(Sorry! I am so bad at getting this set up. xP I can do her)

Uru turned to Ahadi and said, "Look how well the children get along! Adanya fits right into the pride, don't you agree?" Her eyes fell on a cub playing with a bug a little ways away. Frowning, she told Ahadi, "I wonder if there is something wrong with that cub. I always see her alone."

[Misiziri]

Ahadi shifted his large head over to Zira. "Hm. Strange little cub. She's quite scrawny, you think maybe we should invite her to play with Adanya and Folka?"

[Maleficent]

Uru looked at Zira and frowned, "Perhaps. I will leave the decision up to you." Uru scanned the area and frowned, asking, "Where are our own little cubs? It appears they've run off somewhere or another."

[Misiziri]

"Mufasa and Taka? They're at Pride Rock with the other lionesses. Taka seems to have taken a liking to that female cub, Saravi, was it?"

[Maleficent]

"Let's hope the other lionesses can keep them from getting into trouble. Although, I suppose we don't need to worry about Mufasa getting into trouble," Uru replied before looking surprised and adding, "He has? I haven't paid close attention to Taka lately."

[Misiziri]

"Yes, he seems quite taken by her but she played with Muffy instead. Poor kid, I tried talking to him about it but he just walked off..." he replied, "And that little cub over there looks like she could use a good buddy to play with. Hey! Adanya?"

She stopped playing with Folka for a moment and answered her dad's call, "Yeah?"

"Why don't you go over and greet that little cub over there? She looks like she could use a friend."

"Heh, okay!" Adanya replied bouncily. She walked up to Zira and smiled sweetly.

[Maleficent]

"He has a habit of doing that, doesn't he? Just walking off?" Uru sighed, shaking her head. "You're right about that cub over there. Have you seen her before?"

Zira was still swatting at her bug when Adanya approached her. Zira stiffened and tilted her head towards the newcomer warily.

(I'm thinking Zira will be more shy than mean at this point in time, is that alright? Also, I'll just play Scar too so we're set with the characters. TLQ will be Sarabi)

[Misiziri]

(Okay, and Zira is whatever you want her to be.)

Ahadi nodded in response to Uru. "Mm."

Adanya twitched her tail, her eyes glowing playfully, "Wanna play with me and Folka? We're playing tag, I thought maybe you'd wanna... you know, play with us!"
