[Open] A Near Fatal Adventure

Humans have destroyed the territory where a large pride once lived and they all headed off to Pride Rock where they hoped to start a new life, but circumstances separated the pride leaving a group of cubs to continue on their way by themselves and their journey will not be safe and danger lurks around every corner.

Will they all make it in one piece?

Koda was nervous now that he was separated from his parents but he looked forward to the adventure he knew would happen, and plus he was with the other cubs so it wasn't as bad as it could've been and they could hunt together and protect each-other though fighting against a larger animal made him shiver.
Looking at the other cubs he cheered up and moved to stand beside Jelani who was the oldest or at least was the biggest.

"So do you think we'll make it to Pride Rock?"

He scratched at a itch on his side after he spoke hating the distraction but he hated being itchy the most, it drove him crazy.

[AdAstrα]

Jelani gazed at the cub and let out a loud snort.
"I wouldn't count on it." he said, turning his head back to the path before them, "It's far away and lots of things could happen. We're all just a bunch of kids, if something bad happens we'll be in big trouble."
"We're not a bunch of kids!" Buru protested, struggling a little to keep up with his older brother, "Well...you aren't, anyway. You're almost an adult aren't ya Jelani? You can protect us."
Jelani sighed. "That depends what the trouble is,Buru." he muttered, "If we get attacked by a rogue, we're done for. It'd be stupid of me to try and fight someone older and stronger than myself,I'm not that strong yet."

[Daenerys]

Kiana ran up behind Jelani and pounced onto him, "Haha! Got ya!" Kiana bounced around happily. Kiana was always the one pouncing on other cubs, especially when she felt giddy. Although Jelani was bigger than her, it didn't stop her from always pouncing.

"I think we'll get to Pride Rock easily Koda." she said, "I don't think it's far."

[Kenai]

Koda giggled as he watched Kiana pounce on Jelani and crouched down to the ground, Kiana would not be the only one having fun today. He then pounced on Kiana with a fierce growl enjoying himself, now that they were alone with no adults they could all play without getting into trouble.

"I hope so!" He said with a slight grin, "I cant wait to see it!"

[Nitro]

Taj, who was the second oldest with a small tuft of brown mane and light fur, shrugged. "We'll get here when we get there," he said, uninterested in the entire fiasco. His little sister, Aetiri, trailed behind him, her tiny paws struggling to keep up. Taj sighed and picked her up by her scruff, dragging her along.

"Oooh, I can't wait to see what it looks like!" Buru exclaimed, bouncing with excitement, "I bet it's like a dream. Or even better than a dream!"
He gazed at Jelani and wondered why he looked so down. Maybe he was still sad about their mother disappearing? He couldn't blame him if that was the case. But had he not said himself that there was a possibility that she had already reached the Pridelands before them? In that case, they would get to meet her soon! There was nothing to worry about, as far as he knew. But little Buru did not know everything. Jelani had realised that their mother could also be gone forever. The very last time he had seen her, she had been seriously injured. Unless someone had helped her..she was probably dead by now. But as tough as he wanted others to think he was, he couldn't bear mentioning this to Buru when he was getting his hopes up. He couldn't do that to him.

[Kenai]

Koda sniffed the air and he shivered for he had just smelled hyenas nearby, but why they were not attacking when they had no adults with them was beyond him; unless they were waiting until all the cubs were weak with hunger to attack but Koda did not want to wait for that so he knew they would have to find food soon or they were dead. "Hey Jelani," He said quietly as he stood near him as he did not want the others to hear them and anyway they would find out soon. "I smell hyenas nearby, what are we going to do?" He looked at the other cubs, and shook his head; they were not strong enough to fend hyenas off.

[Nitro]

Taj sniffed the air after putting his sister onto the ground. "Hyena carcasses, smart one," he snarked. "They're already dead." His gaze grew solemn. Someone stronger than them had passed by.
