Sarabi has been waiting not believing Scar there was no way her son was dead not in her heart, She had a flash back that was from about a month ago he saw her Mufasa dead in the gorge and cried, "WHY!" Mufasa was her one and only love. She didn't even have Simba to care after anymore she was sad and scared, the pridelands were starting to die and turn grey a lioness named Zira had joined the pride she was now Scar's Queen because Nala refused, "Why did this happen to us?" Sarabi asked one night while sitting at the tip of priderock one night, "Why Mufasa?" She asked. "Where is Simba, is he there with you?" She asked Mufasa who has been with the kings of the past. Sarabi sheared a tear and sucked it up. "If you cried you will die. Hold it in Sarabi" She said to her self. She saw the last of the water being drunken by the last of herds and predators, everyone is taking extreme precautions to share since the hyenas killed for fun and games. Sarabi turned and walked into the cave where she used to sleep was now taken by Scar and his new mate who was now pregnant. Sarabi laid down in the deepest darkest corner of the cave and let her eyes close, she was skinny and weak from not eating she soon fell asleep the only way for her to survive was sleep for energy. Scar was the worst king the pride has ever known she was dreaming of the good times when the pride lands were healthy

Zira opened her eyes. She looked up to see Sarabi walk back in and return to her sleep. Once Scar had taken over, he had asked Nala who had rejected him. She accepted his offer instantly. Zira wasn't sure why Scar kept Sarabi around. Maybe with Mufasa and Simba gone, she was the only one left he could torture. That theory worked well with her.

She walked out of the cave, slowly. Being pregnant made her less active. She wasn't allowed to hunt anymore. Sarabi and the others brought food to her. She smiled evilly as she looked down at the kingdom. Soon her child would be born. And she would make sure he was as strong as his father. And with the hyenas backing her son up, she knew no one would stand up to him. He would rule unopposed. There wasn't anyone left who could stop them now.

Meanwhile in the jungle, Zira was unaware how wrong she was. Timon and Pumbaa woke up. The two soon went off searching for breakfast. They had been Simba's friends and a foster family of sorts. They had a motto, Hakuna Matata, so they didn't talk much about their past and didn't pressure Simba into talking about his.

After a morning breakfast, they headed to the river. It was particulary hot today and they wanted to cool off. They jumped in and relaxed each letting out a sigh.

"I tell you Pumbaa this is the life." said Timon.

"You said it Timon. But we do have a big change here with Simba." said Pumbaa.

"But he's great. And when he gets bigger he'll help protect us." said Timon.

"You mean we'll help protect each other." said Pumbaa.

"Right. That's what I meant. Besides it's just us and the bugs. Nothing ever changes around here and nothing could possibly go wrong." said Timon.

"I hope you're right Timon." said Pumbaa.

The two sigh and then start swimming again to keep cool.

Kasa had seen the Warthog and meerkat swimming and crouched down ready to attack when they get out. "Easy lunch." Kasa said now being in this jungle for only three days because of scar's reign she had to leave the pridelands where she could eat anything at any time but now food was scarce.

Kidogo sighed to himself as he slowly trudged through the dense Jungle, hoping to find somewhere to sleep during the day. Caracals mainly hunted and traveled during the night. It made it a lot safer to travel, as there would normally never be any animals bigger than Kidogo that he came across during the night. The only reason that he was currently travelling through the early hours of the morning was because he had found nowhere to stay before he got to the Jungle. He was also thirsty and exhausted from walking through the desert. He knew it was a bad idea travelling this way, but he was glad that he had at least found somewhere that he could sleep.

Kidogo felt his eyelids become heavier and start to droop out of pure exhaustion. He really needed to find some shelter before he unwillingly dropped to the floor and started sleeping. In an attempt to keep himself awake longer, Kidogo began blinking faster but it wasn't having much of an effect. Just as he thought he was going to drop to the floor and go to sleep, he caught a glimpse of a waterhole.

Kidogo forced himself to carry on until he got to the waterhole and began to run there, not walk. Just as he was about to come through the last, thin layer of foliage before the waterhole, he noticed another Caracal at the edge, seemingly about to pounce on something. Kidogo was so amazed and dumbfounded at seeing another Caracal here that he forgot be was still running to the waterhole and tripped over a small tree root. He rolled into the water, unable to stop himself and immediately began to splash around and try to get to the edge of the waterhole. He eventually managed to do so and he started panting for breath.

((OOC: Sorry, that's just the normal length of my first post in many RP's XP))

Timon and Pumbaa looked up at the noise and saw Kasa and Kidogo.

"Uh Timon?" asked Pumbaa.

"Lions." said Timon.

He sighed and laid back down. He opened his wide as he realized the danger.

"Lions!" said Timon.

Timon jumps onto Pumbaa's back as the duo take off running not sure if the two are chasing them or not.

Kidogo slowly but surely hauled himself out of the water. When his whole body was out, he did nothing but flop straight down on the floor and start coughing for a bit to get the water out of his lungs. Kidogo hardly even noticed the Meerkat and Warthog start running away from him and the other Caracal; he was to tired and shocked about him finding another Caracal. Kirov lifted his head slightly and managed to just about look the Caracal in the eyes. "W-Who are you?" he asked weakly and in a croaky tone of voice. His throat was still dry from not having drank anything in days.

Nala had ran off after Scar had tried to make her his mate. She rejected him right away, not willing to become the mate of the monster. That night, she ran away after telling her mother that she can't stay. For days, she ran through a large desert. What the dead Pridelands didn't take away from her, the desert did. By the time she got to the edge of an oasis, she was weak and incredibly tired. Reaching the edge of the oasis, Nala drank out of it gratefully.

Once she drank her fill, Nala looked up and was surprised to see a large group of tress on the horizon. Feeling slightly refreshed, Nala proceeded towards the trees.

Kidogo was very surprised that the other Caracal, Kasa, wasn't going to try and force him away from her territory. Or at least, it didn't look like she was going to do that anyway. To be honest, Kidogo didn't even know whether this was her territory at all. She seemed friendly enough, though. "My name's Kidogo." he replied, unsure whether Kasa could even hear him.

Kidogo pushed himself up off of the floor and managed to stand up. His legs were shaky and weak from not having slept, drank, or eaten in a couple of days. It was starting to take its toll, but at least now he had water. Kidogo turned and started happily drinking from the waterhole, trying to drink as much water as he could. Once he felt satisfied, Kidogo turned his attention back to Kasa. "So...you going to try and kill me?" he asked drowsily, still hardly able to walk towered her.

"Kill you?" Kasa questioned, "Now why would I do that?" Kasa stated, "So Kidogo where are you from?" Kasa asked wondering where Kindogo was from, she was from the pridelands maybe he was too.
