This is Called: The Nero Pride Chapters: Chapter 1-Vitani & Mheetu; Far From Home RP.

This Rp is about Mheetu and Vitani, Mheetu is the son of Sarafina and Shujaa. Vitani was adopted my Mufasa and Sarabi. This Rp is a add On from the Trials in the Pride Lands RP’. Mufasa arranges a marriage between Vitani and the future King of Nero Pride. Both Mheetu and Vitani didn’t realize is stepping into a new Pride meant new rules. Mheetu’s been having nightmares of a mysterious lioness hes suppose to save and plans on dropping Vitani off at the Pride and leaving. Until he has a dream about the Pride. The pride is located more in the jungle and the lion’s shelter is dens in the wall of a mountain/waterfall. The waterfall is the main water supply and also keeps the animals and scenery green. The savannah outside the jungle is very dry and some animals graze there but not many. The mountain area in which the water fall falls from is very large and high, producing large trees with a lot of shade. This causes the lions/lionesses of the Nero pride to be darker in color to blend in with their surroundings.

Background info: King Marrone and Queen Alma had two cubs, Prince Nyembe and Princess Adanna. They are now young adults and the King has arranged a marriage between Nyembe and Vitani. King Marrone and Mufasa were friends as cubs growing up and that’s how Mufasa knew about the Nero Pride. Prince Nyembe’s best friend is the Pride’s leading protector Delano and Princess Adanna’s best friend is Himili. There were a large number of cubs born around the same time because the King was trying to make his Pride larger. Himili’s mate is Maximus and their cub named Zuwa. Tempesta is a young female lioness who’s also Nyembe’s age and she is the Pride’s scout. Her and Delano work as a team normally when scouting the lands for intruders or enemies. Tempesta grew up with Delano and Nyembe and is very close with them. Tempesta’s mother was Queen Alma’s best friend and risked her life in saving the queen, so the queen has always had a soft spot for Tempesta. Tempesta also watches over her little cub sister Dyana, Dyana and Zuwa are close friends. Mheetu and Vitani are stepping into a Pride that is completely different from their own and they arent too sure they know what their getting into!

The sun was high above the canopy and the shadows from the trees casted down upon the traveling friends. Mheetu’s green eyes glanced sideways at Vitani, “Are you worried about this match making thing? he asked curiously. His big fluffy golden mane got tangled in a hanging vine and he shook his head, freeing the leaves. “I hate this place.” he mumbled. His green eyes noticed deep claw marks on a tree nearby and he paused a moment, “Were here I guess..Lets rest and relax under that big tree for a moment. Find some food. Are you hungry princess?” he said. He reclined back in the thick grass and let out a sigh, his large paws ached from walking for 3 days.

Meanwhile in the Pride...

King Marrone sat down in the grass and he noticed Tempesta lounging in the tree sleeping. He stood to his paws and narrowed his grey eyes and stepped under the tree. The old lion stood to his two back paws and laid his front paws on the tree. King Marrone looked both ways and smirked; he used his body weight and shook the skinny tree, causing Tempesta to wake up hissing. “Your suppose to be awake! Patrolling with Delano!” he growled annoyed with her laziness lately.

Tempesta slept soundly until she felt the branch slip out from under her, the lioness’s claws slinked into the tree’s branch as she hung from it. She growled at the King annoyed, “I was sleeping..” she hissed and dropped to the soft grass. The lioness stretched out her ebony colored toes and her turquoise eyes looked at King Marrone a pout across her muzzle, “At once King..” she said softly. Tempesta quickly padded in the direction in search of Delano, it was time to patrol.

Nyembe had been walking around. He was excited to be meeting the princess of Pride Rock. "I think she'll like me very much. After all, what isn't there to like about me?" he said cockily.

[Songo]

Tempesta's turquoise eyes looked at Nyembe and she smiled slightly, "Ha..You let the throne get to your head sometimes Nyembe." she said making her way towards the lion. She stepped up to him and looked sideways at King Marrone, "Come on lets go find Delano.." she whispered. Her ears flattened back as she heard the King talk to other lionesses and she hoped he didn't say any thing else to her.

Nyembe smirked. "Well, why shouldn't I be proud? I'm the image of what a prince should be," he said, not noticing how much his arrogance was annoying the lionesses.

Alma was sleeping not far away from the talking lions, she awoke and yawned, she saw prince Nyembe sitting near the king and Tempesta. "Nyembe I see your happy to be meeting the princess." Alma stood up and rubbed Nyembe's head with her paw. "So what do your father and you have planned for today my little prince."

"I don't know, Mom. I was thinking of going to practice my pouncing and fighting skills," Nyembe replied. He then took a deep breath. "I can't wait to meet Mufasa's daughter," he continued.

Tempesta smiled at Alama she bowed her head and her turquoise eyes narrowed at Nyembe. The lioness poked at Nyembe with his paw and laughed, "Well little Prince, you stay here. Come find Delano and I when your ready. I need to begin my patrols." she grumbled rolling her eyes. Tempesta smiled at Nyembe and bounded off into the jungle's thick bushes, she followed paw prints that resembled Delanos.

Marrone noticed Alma had awoke and he stepped to his mate smiling, he nuzzled her softly. His grey eyes looked at Tempesta and noticed her disappear into the jungle, " I thought so.." he muttered as she disappeared. Marrone over heard Alma's words and he looked down at Nyembe, "Well today I promised Adanna i'd take her to the waterfall. Nyembe your suppose to stay here and wait for the Princess to arrive. She should be here today or tomorrow." he ordered to his son.

Alma licked her mates cheek. "Nyembe your fathers right be patient she shall be here soon enough." Alma walked towards her son "Why don't you practice your pouncing around this area so if the princess comes you will be the first one she sees." Alma said to her eager son.

Nyembe became excited. "I think I will. That way, she'll be impressed with my pouncing prowess," he said.
