OOC: Sorry I didn't reply yesterday - I was so busy packing for my move that I just never had the time to properly sit down and write D= Also, what age is Ahadi when we begin?
IC: King Mohatu's sleep had been troubled. With this draught and all the problems it was causing, it was difficult for the King to get some real rest... The river had dried out and the water hole was shrinking by the day. The green grass was gone and the trees were losing their leaves. If no rain came soon, his kingdom would be in the middle of a truly terrible disaster and this troubled the lion greatly. His beautiful Queen did her best to help him, but every night Mohatu fell into deep thought and the more he thought about his trouble, the greater it became. Every morning he awoke hoping that by some miracle the rains would have returned, but every morning he awoke to the same disappointment. And the herds were getting tired and thirsty. He sighed and looked back to his son. There was nothing else to it, they had to try. "I have thought of a new law, to help us until the rains return." he said. "Each animal will have their own ration of drink for the day, that way we'll save water. We lions will drink last, because we can go for days without water..." This had never been done before, but desperate times called for desperate measures. And this would calm the animals until he had thought of something else, or until rain came and the Zuberi river started flowing again. "Help me assemble the animals, Ahadi. I will announce the law to the kingdom at midday. I will give the Call, but it's important that we find everyone, so I want you and the pride to help me go out and tell them to come."
The great lion then ascended to the edge of Pride Rock and let out two mighty roars. It could be heard for miles around and was the signal that the King had an important announcement to make that required his subjects to gather...
