Where Kopa went wrong... [ P r i v a t e ]

This is a private role-play dedicated to Latari and I. No spots will be open to other members besides ourselves unless we agree to let others in. (Note: the plot is quite simple and is very widely discussed)

Title: Where Kopa went wrong.

Plot: Kopa lives an almost perfect life with his kind father, Simba, and his loving mother, Nala, until he wanders a little too far into the Outlands. He meets Kovu and Vitani and make instant friends with them, although Nuka is terribly worried that Zira would catch them making friends with a Pridelander. Even aware of the dangers, they continue to have "play-dates" together and become good friends...oblivious that Zira knows of their bond. Whilst Zira plots against the cub, Simba figures out why Kopa has been leaving Pride Rock and is determined to keep him refined in the Pride Lands. Zira then pursuades Nuka, although he is very troubled that he would have to kill his own friend, to find and kill Kopa to settle her score with Simba...

Nuka began to look over at the pridelands. "Hey Kovu don't you just want to go over and see if theres any other cubs to play with," he mumbled to his brother. Kovu nodded his head. "Well lets go check it out we went go very far dont be scared," he growled at kovu's widened-eyes. Then nuka began to walk in the direction of the pridelands with Kovu.

The hot sun was pounding on Vitani's unprotected back. Her eyes and her own self was bored out of her mind. There was nothing to do these days; especially since her mother, Zira, had been so busy planning her revenge against Simba. For countless years her mother had tried to avenge Scar, her mate. All the other Outlanders thought it was impossible, but they dare not question the word of their leader. They would not know what to expect if her temper burst. Throughout these rough times, Vitani and the other cubs had been sent out to go "do something", so, as you would expect, they did nothing. There simply was nothing to do.

Vitani breathed into her lungs and breathed out with a great Woosh! Her thin ears pricked upwards at the sound of Nuka and Kovu's voice. What are those two up to? thought Vitani to herself as she picked herself off the ground and slowly padded toward the duo.

"Hey, Nuka. Hey, Kovu, whatcha up to?" asked the young female as she sat her bottom on the ground in front of the two. Her mouth was brimmed into a smile when they mentioned someone to go play with. "Oh, goodie! I heard Simba had a cub not too long ago! Let's go now!" Vitani excitedly began racing towards the Pridelands as she hopped about.

[Latari]

Nuka dashed to her side and Kovu not far behind. "Hey Tani how are we going to find him without getting caught, theres Simba and that annoying little bird zazu around?"

"We'll get caught for sure!", Kovu piped in. then he looked scared. Nuka nudged him we"ll find a way. "So what we going to do Tani, he said facing her again."

Vitani continued walking with that carefree smile on her face and only glanced back at the two boys behind her when she heard their voice. Her step was bouncy and light and she walked with nary a care as she spoke confidently,

"Oh, we'll find a way...you'll see..." she continued to trot along when the large mass of Pride Rock stopped her in her tracks. Pride Rock was a huge monument and was very uneasying to look at from ground-level. Vitani gulped quietly as she thought about Simba and if he would have the audacity to come out and chase the cubs away.

Slowly padding along the grassy ground, the young cub placed paw after paw up the various rocks that lead up to the main base. Her body shook with terror at the size of Pride Rock...which could only mean the lions who were there were large as well.

[Latari]

"Where gonnabe in so much trouble." Nuka walked up the slope mumbling about how much trouble they where going to be when we get home with mother. But then walking up this slope he thought of his father. As he snapped out of his day-dream "Tani are we going all the way upand look for the cub, he wispered?" He looked around curiously at how different the pridelands was.

Kovu was shivering madly in fear at the gigantic slope then he looked at his brother and sister and toughned up and walked with his chest puffed out.

"We're not going to get caught!" snapped Vitani at Nuka when she heard him grumble. With a resolute expression on her slim figures, Vitani bravely continued to pad up the rocky slope. When they had finally reached the top, the young female poked her head around the corners of the rocks cautiously calling out, "Hello? Hello? Is anybody here?"

To her surprise, a small voice whispered back, "I'm here."

Vitani was almost positive that there would be nobody answering back, so when she heard the voice, her tail puffed out and she ran behind Nuka like it was the end of the world. She was panting heavily trying to control herself when she realized it was only a small cub. The young female emerged from behind Nuka and stuck her chest out regally.

"Who are you?" she proudly questioned the newcomer.

A hopeful smile escaped the other cub's lips as he leaned his head forward slightly. "My name's Kopa."

[Latari]

"Hello Kopa are you the new cub?" Nuka chuckled at how worried he was before.

'HI, Im Kovu. Do you want to play?"

Kopa smiled warmly at Nuka and replied, "Indeed; I am the heir to Simba, my father. Who are you all?"

At this, Vitani lowered her chest and looked almost ashamed since she was and Outlander and of such evil heritage. "Well, my name is Vitani...I'm an Outlander." Her eyes dropped to the ground.

Kopa's smile increased as he lifted her chin with his paw and looked into her eyes lovingly. "We are one; there is nothing to be ashamed about being an Outlander..." he placed his paw on her chest where her heart would be located, "as long as your heart is where it should be." He grinned and took his paw off her chest. There were a few moments of silence before Kovu broke it requesting to play.

The young male laughed joyfully and growled at Kovu, "Do I want to? Tag, you're it!" he broke off into a run, awaiting the presence of the other cubs.

[Latari]

Nuka and Kovu looked at each other and broke out into a run. Nuka caught up to Kopa. Kovu was not far behind. "Im gonna get you guys," he yelled after them. Nuka squeezed ahead of Kopa to avoid Kovu who was a paw-length behind. Kovu reached out and tagged Kopa and ran in a different direction, "Tag your it," he called
