IC: ”Hah ha! Alright! Ready Amy? Allons y!”

The Doctor bounced merrily around the large TARDIS console and pressed buttons, turned switches, winded up levers, rang bells and occasionally even hit it with a hammer. The controls on the large six-sided board seemed to be made up of random little objects, gathered through various periods of Earth time. A typewriter, a glass orb, a bell, a telephone… The Doctor seemed to be activating them all at random, but he knew exactly what he was doing. Soon enough the familiar ‘bang!’ and ‘whoosh’ of the time machine sounded, and they were off.

The TARDIS, its full name being ‘Time And Relative Dimension In Space’, Type 40, may have looked like an ordinary 1950s blue police box from the outside, but it was truly anything but ordinary. The TARDIS was a time machine in disguise, the inside was bigger than the outside, and it was piloted by none other than the Doctor, a Time Lord. The last of the Time Lords... He was over 900 years old, but looked like any other human and appeared to be young, not past his thirties.

The time machine was now rocking back and forth as it roared through the time vortex, and the passengers would as usual hang on for dear life to not fall onto the floor. The Doctor didn’t mind; in fact he loved it. He could go anywhere, in any time. There was an endless universe out there – and he wanted to see it all!

This time they were going to Planet 1, the oldest planet in the universe. “There is a cliff wall there!” the Doctor shouted over the noise to his current travelling companion – a human girl from Scotland named Amy Pond. “And there is some writing on that cliff! Nobody knows wh--“ The TARDIS suddenly shook violently. The Time Lord reached for the typewriter on the console, pressed buttons until it went ‘ding!’ and the shaking calmed down again. “Whew! Nasty that. But as I was saying, there is a cliff wall there with writing on it. And nobody knows what it says because nobody’s ever translated it – until now! Hah ha!” The TARDIS could translate any language, spoken or written, through telepathy so once they had landed, reading the oldest message in the universe would be a piece of cake. It was only odd that he hadn’t thought of doing this before.

The rocking stopped and the engines died down, which meant that they had landed and it was safe to let go of the console… The Doctor grinned and adjusted the long brown coat he wore. Behind those small white doors at the edge of the big room was a brilliant brand new world. Something he had never seen before! That would never stop being exciting! The Time Lord looked over at Amy, then nodded towards the doors. “Well, go on then!” he said. He would let her have the honours this time.

(You know, you should save this somewhere on your computer. Perhaps they deleted this because it's not PURELY TLK...I was just thinking about that.)

Kovu pranced lightly down the stones that led away from the den at Pride Rock, leaving his mate to sleep peacefully as he wandered towards the private little pond that served as the royal watering hole. He was used to always waking up at the crack of dawn, when his mother would force him to train for hours on end, and he would therefore always be up before everyone else had even cracked an eyelid. His paws made absolutely no sound as he made his way down. He had a habit of always walking silently, a point that Kiara had made frequently. Kovu smiled. She was always startled when he walked up to her because she never heard him coming, and she would screech and tell him not to sneak up on her...

He came to the water's edge and he stared down at his reflection. He had filled out in the last few weeks here at Pride Rock, and Kovu took notice of the changes in his appearance. His coat and mane were much glossier, accenting the rippling muscle underneath, and his eyes seemed clearer and brighter with health. The dark lion smirked. He hadn't really paid much attention to his appearance when he'd lived in the Outlands, but ever since he'd met Kiara, he had begun to worry about his looks. He took a moment to savor the image of himself in the reflection before leaning down and lapping up the cool, refreshing water. The sun's beginning rays began to peek over the edge of the savannah, giving the water a pretty glow.

After taking his fill, Kovu sat back on his haunches to take in his surroundings. I don't think I'll ever get over the beauty of this place, he though to himself. The future king settled down on his stomach and tucked his paws under his body, admiring the sunrise.

---------------------------------------

Nala's eyes fluttered open when her mate shifted in his sleep. His warm belly was pressed against her back, and a paw was draped over her shoulder. The queen smiled to herself and sighed contentedly.

The beautiful lioness had been standing in the background for the past couple of weeks, watching everything that happened with a critical eye. She had backed off to let her mate handle things for a little while, only giving him little bits of advice. Nala had known that Simba needed to figure things out for himself, to solve his inner turmoil that had to do with his daughter and with the Outlanders. Though she would give gentle pushes, she knew that he would find his way and figure out the right thing to do.

Nala closed her eyes and pressed her back into Simba's belly. Just a few more minutes of sleep...

Vitani was sleeping i her own little corner of the den, she'd grown used to sleep with not many lions around,so she didn't like too much company around her during her naps. Back in the Outlands, she always had to wake up just around the same time as Kovu, often leaving her being his sparring partner. But since that time was over, she just slept as long as she wanted,usually... However, she heard something. Upon opening her eyes a bit,she noticed Kovu has already awaken. She didn't however try to catch his attention, she just let him leave the cave, obviously in belief he was the only one up at this point. Oh this is gonna be so fun...,she thought to herself while giggling a bit. Since their mother was gone, whose loss she did grieve, despite it being a much easier and more careless life without her, Vitani and Kovu got to get to know each other from some other side,a fun side. With that, her cheeky attitude came to show, she was always in for playing a prank on her brother.

She got up,silently making her way out of the cave, trying not to wake up anyone, especially not the king, since she still didn't get as much of a connection with him as that she would be comfortable with him waking up because of her. Upon leaving the cave, she noticed Kovu walking towards the pond.''Hehe,he has no idea...'',she whispered to herself while slowly making her way towards him, trying her best not to make a single sound. As he settled down in front of the pond,Vitani was already very close. When she reached her desired distance, she almost soundlessly jumped at him and pounced him while grabbing his neck with her paws. ''Surprise!''

_____________________

Simba was still deeply asleep by Nala's side, not even aware of that he had his paw wrapped around her. Upon feeling an itch, he scratched his muzzle with his sharp claws. It pulled him out of his dreams and he slowly opened one of his eyes while looking around, only vaguely seeing everything. He let his head back to the floor again while breathing in deeply and yawning. He turned towards Nala and smiled, upon seeing her under his paw. He pulled her closer towards himself and then bit her neck gently, trying to wake her up.

It has been quite a hard time for him as king lately, with all the changes coming along. However,it's led him to be an even wiser king than before,he felt very regal upon seeing how well his kingdom was doing. With Kovu's arrival,he had so to say a 'lost son' added to the occasion. He grew to like Kovu and always liked teaching him some things about life or just teasing with him. Kiara was especially satisfied with how well they got along, she always enjoyed just watching the two discuss about who knows that. Some other Outlanders still had difficulties in getting used to living in the Pride Lands though. However,he was happy to see in which direction the whole situation in the Pride Lands was going. It was now a peaceful kingdom, one that his father would've been proud of. Simba still used to spend hours gazing up at the sky...

(( Aye, Im ready Doctor! JIRONIMOOOOOOOO ))

If it wasn't one thing it was another. She never had a moments peace with the Doctor, Never a moment to herself. She felt like an animal, and The Doctor was a zoo keeper, she felt homesick and alone, even though she knew she had The Doctor... But did she really have him... only time would tell.

The sleep left her in a flash, she had been having a recurring nightmare, She was home, watching a snake, slowly and silently snaking towards her, watching her the whole time, yet she was oblivious. Slowly it closed the gap, moving closer and closer towards Amy. It coiled up, ready to strike. Turning at a sound, she saw the snake and gasped, she never liked snakes, it flew towards her with frightening speed.

SMACK. She was on the ground, the snake no where to be seen, but a fury foot lay on her chest, her eyes still closed, she felt a soft lick on her cheek, a growl, and she was awake. Sitting bolt upright, shaking the sleep from her eyes, she knew the Doctor was speaking but she didn't know what.

THUD. That familiar sound, that they had landed somewhere. More importantly, sometime. Staying near motionless for a few moments, Amy finally heard The Doctor speak “Well, go on then!” The melodious voice finally bringing her round. Looking into The Doctor's eyes, Amy said, her voice almost at a whisper What? she asked, not knowing what he meant. Standing up, she didn't notice the slight slant of the TARDIS, and that she was still half asleep, so stumbled around, coming close to The Doctor, her expression becoming one of fear and sadness.

Kovu relaxed as he watched the sunrise, his emerald eyes large and reflective. The sun could be seen if you looked into his eyes, and the beauty and marvel of it all took his breath away...

Suddenly there was a very small noise behind him, and before he could register what it was and even before he'd halfway whipped his head around, a heavy thing had landed upon his back, making loud noises. He felt paws on his neck and he had a moment of panic before he realized that he was no longer in the Outlands, where others would attack you for no reason...

"Vitaniiiiiiii!" Kovu whined, much like he used to as a cub. "What the hell is wrong with you? I was just enjoying being all alone..." He rolled her off of his back, and a smirk sneaked its way onto his face, half-amused and half-annoyed as usual. He pawed at her ears before turning to look at the sunrise once again. "Isn't it wonderful, 'Tani?" Kovu said quietly, using Nuka's old nickname for his sister.

-------------------------------

Nala let a low, quiet chuckle bubble out from her lips as she felt Simba's teeth gently nip her neck. The action immediately alerted her to his status-finally awake. The feeling of his canines sent a tiny shot of electricity through her and she couldn't help but to smile.

"Mm, you know I like that way too much," She murmured, craning her neck to look up at him through sleepy, half-lidded eyes. "Good morning, babe," she said warmly, and she reached up both paws to grab his head. She pulled him down close enough for her to lick his cheek before letting go again.

"Oooooof," she groaned as she stretched. The vertebrae in her spine popped as she did so, causing her to relax and feel much better. Nala got up and stretched again, first by arching her back end up, then by leaning forward to stretch her back legs.

"Okay, time for another day," she sighed in a it's-so-tough-to-be-queen sort of way. She shook her head and shoulders quickly before glancing down at her mate. It was time for their routine walk down to the watering hole together before starting their day--a way for them both to prepare for the duties that came with royalty. They both needed to teach Kovu and Kiara all they could about the kingdom and the duties of the king and queen...

OOC: Pardon lateness. Illness stole me away this time... Ugh -.-

This is kinda a "Part 1 of 2"-post. I'm posting it in two chunks so that it won't be ridiculously long and to get something posted faster... xP

IC:
The Doctor felt a sting of bad conscience upon actually seeing Amy's expression. He hadn't noticed that she seemed so... under the weather today. It wasn’t like her to be unhappy. Either way, seeing this new place would surely cheer her up! He hoped so anyway. He didn’t quite know what else he could do... Perhaps once they had read the message, Amy could choose a fun new destination for them. That usually did the trick.

“Oor I can do it.” the Time Lord said, now that his companion didn’t seem quite up for opening the doors, and sauntered over to the wall where the entrance was located. Once Amy had followed him there, the Doctor grabbed the two handles on the doors, ready to swing them open. “So, here we are – the oldest planet in the Universe, about to read the oldest message in the Universe! Ready? And here it--!” The doors flung open, but outside was no stunning cliff face with writing. Just dense, green jungle foliage. “...is.” The Doctor’s expression changed to that of utter confusion. The TARDIS took him astray sometimes, he knew that, but this time he was sure that he had had the right coordinates... It couldn’t have gone wrong... He leaned out of the entrance and turned his head from side to side, trying to figure out where the big massive mountain made of diamond had gone. “It was supposed to be here, at least.” The Doctor stepped outside. It was a warm, lush jungle, very similar to a jungle on Earth, yet somehow different. The air was fresh and the myriad of colourful flowers were in bloom. The big leaves and huge trees showcased every shade of green you could imagine. It was all very placid and beautiful; a perfect oasis of peace, but it wasn’t this that they had come for. The Time Lord scratched his head and looked up and around, still puzzled. In front of them was nothing but probably miles upon miles of jungle, to the sides was nothing but probably the same. So what could be behind them? Surely the same... But it couldn’t hurt to look. The Doctor jogged around the little blue box, stopped behind it, then grinned. “Amy!” he shouted. “I found it!”

Just behind the TARDIS was a little gap in the foliage, almost like a hole in the jungle, where one could see some glimpses of the rock wall they were looking for behind some hanging leaves. They were probably by the edge of some other cliff then, where the jungle had had to come to an abrupt end. The Doctor waited for Amy to join him. “You’ll like this.” he said and smiled, then parted the overhanging foliage so that they could see. The Doctor raised his eyebrows, surprised. “That’s intere--“

BANG!

Something had gone wrong. Terribly, horribly wrong. The Doctor couldn’t see or hear anything; only felt that he was falling, tumbling down something... the edge of the cliff they had been standing on, no doubt. Where was Amy? He couldn’t see! The world was spinning. Was she alright!? There had been a bright light, and a shock wave of some kind of explosion had blown them off the edge. He tried to grab hold of something, anything, to stop him from going down this hill but failed. Where had that blast come from? From behind them. A feeling of absolute terror struck the Time Lord. It was as if his two hearts might as well have stopped. No. No! NO! Then he hit the ground - not some nice, soft jungle-y ground as he had hoped, but hard, solid earth - and the world faded out.

As soon as Vitani heard the annoyed cry from Kovu, she knew that the little action was worth it. She loved to tease her brother, not to actually annoy him, but more to make up for all the lack of real fun in their tough childhood. ''Guess you have some company in being alone now.'', she said while giggling a bit, still amused by Kovu's bilateral reaction to her little prank. As he rolled her off to the side, she thumped to the ground and then rolled to her stomach and turned the way Kovu was facing. When Kovu pawed at her to look at the sunset, she once again felt a warmness inside her. She never watched the sunset with anyone, well at least not while laying down and admiring it, but more as a break from the countless sparring sessions she exchanged with her brother. By now, they both basically knew how each of them works in a fight, they could foresee each others steps. But it was a long time since they did so and it was a good thing. She didn't feel like doing it anymore, she wanted a real brother, not a fighting partner. And now, after her mother was gone, despite the sadness she felt because of her loss and Nuka's as well, she finally had a brother. ''It really is,Kovu...''

As they both glared towards the sunset, she felt like she had some stuff to tell Kovu. ''Hey Kovu...'', she said while turnign towards him. ''Do you ever think of how life would be if we stayed in the Outlands?'' She lowered her head down as she felt a bit of sadness take over her. ''I'm asking because... I'm glad we left it,I finally got a real family,I got a real brother now.'', she said, while looking Kovu in the eyes during the last line. She smiled a bit as she was glas just how relaxing and good life was here, but at the same time, two of their closest family members were dead. while looking back at the sunset, she closed her eyes and asked him:''But what about mother and Nuka...''

_____________________

Simba continued gently nibbling the back of Nala's neck as she silently giggled upon realizing what he was doing. He always loved to show her those little signs of affection he felt for her, not just because he loved her, but because she'd always remind him of her love towards him as well, by returning the affection. As she replied to his action,he himself sent out a laughter.''I know you do...'' Upon her licking his cheek,he replied to her: ''Good morning.'', while putting on a small smile across his muzzle.

Upon seeing Nala stretch, he felt the urge to do himself. While laying on his stomach, he stretched his front legs to the front and back legs to the back, causing him to yawn as he did so. He then flexed his paws and got up, following Nala who was looking at him laying down. With doing so,he lightly bumped into her, on purpose, not to disbalance her,but to just get her attention. He then smiled at her, before nuzzling her gently. He stroked the side of his muzzle at hers as they both purred. ''Let's go!'', he said to her while starting to walk outside the cave. As the sun hit his eyes, he closed them as the adjusted to the sudden rays of sunlight.

He looked around to see if anyone else was up and spotted Kovu and Vitani in the distace, near the private waterhole. He was always amazed with how little sleep they both and all the other ex-Outlanders needed. They were always the first ones to be awaken. He then continued walking towards the waterhole with Nala.

Amy didn't even smile at the doctor, She knew he was worried about, but that wasn't what was on her mind, she knew something was wrong... something far away yet near. She watched in her minds eye as a blue box appeared and the familiar exterior of the TARDIS materialised in front of her. A bright light and a blistering pain shot through her body.

She arched her back, letting out no noise. She opened her mouth to breath but no air came. It was as if she was drowning, fear washed over her. She was on an unknown planet, an unknown time. The doctor had stepped out of the TARDIS. The world moved in slow motion. She tried to call out to stop him, She tried to reach out to him, but her arms were like lead. He was gone.

The moment he left, the spell broke and Amy was laying on the floor panting heavily. She didn't move, she knew she didn't have the energy nor the motivation to move, until... *tick tick tick* It started... *tick tick tick. BANG* She looked around trying to find the source of the noise. *Screech* The TARDIS engines have started?! Amy thought panicked as she stood up.

A voice began to emanate from deep within the machine. It was cold and hostile, filled with hate and hopelessness. It started speaking in an ancient language, dead to all but the oldest of races. with every syllable it spoke a wave of pain passed through Amy, she ran towards the doors in slow motion.

As she got there the pain intensified. The last word had been spoken and it was shouted above the rest.

Silence... Everything was as if it had never been switched on, even the faint hum of the TARDIS's power core stopped. *tick tick tick* The voice whispered as the Temperature plummeted... "The End Of The Doctor" The ticking started again... it was as if the machine was possessed by some other beings.

The ticking grew faster.... faster, faster! Amy ran into the open ignoring the beauty of the jungle that surrounded her. She looked around for the doctor, only catching the last of his shout. DOCTOR! she shouted as a final wave of pain hit her, this one taking her to her knees DOC...ROARRRR To her surprise, her voice became inhuman, animalistic, as she roared like a lion.

The pain lingered and she looked up at the TARDIS. Straight into the heart of time, and she saw it... A blinding white light shot through the doors, an explosion of raw power and time mixed together forming the ultimate weapon. It hit her front on, she didn't stand a chance. As the force of the blast catapulted her backwards a tear solitary tear leaked from her eye.

She had never had the chance to say the one thing she had always know to the one person who had to hear it. She had never told The Doctor, she loved him. His image lingered in her memory, his soft sweet voice, his rash ideas... She hit something hard knowing that was her end. She didnt try to fight the darkness, but in her new found voice of a lion she gasped softly and repeated one word... Doctor.... Unconsciousness claimed her, Finally she was at peace.

***** Kiara *****

Kiara was still sleeping when most of the pride had woken. She was different now the times had changed. The Pridelands were peaceful again and the outsiders had joined the pride or left to start their own. She had Kovu as a mate and future King, she didn't see how anything could go wrong.

She dreamt that night, a dream that had become more serious every time she had it. The same night every month. The night before the full moon. She dreamt that a new lioness had walked into the Pridelands, and she was very pretty. A lioness that was wounded and almost dead from exhaustion.

She dreamt the pride took her in and helped her become well again, and many months ago, the dream, would have ended there, but slowly it became longer. The next month, it was Kovu who helped her get better. The month after that the Lioness kissed Kovu for helping her. The following month he kissed her back. Summer was coming around again, and the dreams became more frequent, once a week. This was her fourth this month.

The first week the new Lioness went hunting with the pride and took command of the hunting party, which was now Kiara's job as future queen. The next week her parents announced they were stepping down from the throne and that Kiara and Kovu were the new king and queen. The week before, She hadn't seen Kovu in her dream but had heard the lionesses talking about him doing things.

This weeks was worst. She had walked in on the new Lioness and Kovu acting like mates, Kissing and talking romantically. Kiara snapped and ordered the lioness from the lands, But Kovu turned towards Kiara, told her that he had fell in love with this new lioness and that she is the new Queen. He banished her from the Pridelands and that's when she woke up.

She was crying when she woke, whimpering like a lost cub, her ears flat and her body shivering. She stood up dizzy and stumbled into the middle of the cave where she fell crying even worse. Deep down she knew something was coming and she had to warn Kovu.. but she couldn't.. her dream had shown her what would happen.

She was the future queen, she had a mate and a king, yet all she could do was be a cub. She lay on her side crying, a paw trying to cover her face.

Kovu enjoyed the moment with his sister, glad to have her by his side. She'd quickly turned into a kind, pleasant lioness--perhaps still rough around the edges, but no longer a cold killer as their mother had tried to instill in them since cubhood. He smiled and ruffled her fringe. Her comments made him blush and smile, and he held her gaze as she spoke.

"Aw, 'Tani...I'm glad to have you around, too," he said quietly, his green eyes soft. Her comment about Nuka and Zira brought back painful memories, and his expression became sad. "I...don't know if Mother would have let go of her anger. I think, maybe...it's for the best. But Nuka...maybe Nuka would have been okay. I mean, he loved Mother, but...I think he would have been happy to be here." Two small tears slipped from Kovu's eyes, leaving a twin trail of wetness down his face. He didn't notice them as he stared back at the sunrise, memories of his lost brother bubbling to the surface of his mind.

----------

Nala stepped down the rocks and towards the small lake of water with Simba, keeping close to him. She spotted Kovu and his sister talking to one another, both of them facing the sunrise. The queen smiled to herself. She was happy that Kovu had been exhibiting a friendly and caring personality, contrary to what Zira had tried to teach him. It seemed that Kovu's heart won out over all the evil he'd been taught, and Nala was sure that he'd make a good king, eventually.

"Should we wake Kiara?" She directed the question at Simba. Nala knew that Kiara liked to sleep in sometimes, and often left her to be, but it was a mother's desire to spend time with her cubs that caused her to want to barge in and wake her daughter.

“Doctor!”

Voices... Whispers... Ancient words and long forgotten spells... And an explosion.

“DOCTOR!”

“Uuugh...” That was some headache. How long had he been knocked out for? His body was battered and bruised, aching all over. It was nothing too serious, just rather... irritating. The surroundings were silent. No birdsong, no breeze rustling any leaves, not even the buzzing of insects. The Doctor carefully opened one eye. Everything was still blurry, but the time of day didn't seem to have changed much. The one sun was still shining an early light; it wasn't even past midday. Attempting to move a leg, he grimaced. “Lovely...” he thought. “I’m gonna feel this for a while.” Nothing seemed broken, at least. With a sigh he blinked and turned his head away from the sunlight. The Time Lord idly regarded the blurry shape that he knew would be his hand, but without really seeing it. He had no idea what had just happened. And that was never good. Those sounds. The words. He faintly recognised them. But... how could that be possible? What exactly had happened? Whatever it was, it was vital that he got off the ground and found out. The blur was slowly fading from his field of vision and the Doctor could see things a little more clearly now. Better get moving and-- ...Why was there a paw there? And why did it also shift when he wanted to move his hand? His eyes widened. No. No, no, no, no, that was impossible. Completely impossible. But blinking a few more times didn’t make it go away. Glancing towards his other hand, he found that it too had been replaced with a fluffy foot. He looked to his right hand and to his left, a look of utter confusion on his face. Then he looked back to his right hand. And his left. What? What!? The Doctor shifted to rest on his elbows and looked over his shoulder to find that the rest of him was indeed not its usual self either. This was a completely different body! With fur and paws and four legs and a tail! And so much hair too! A full mane! “Impossible!” he gasped and for a moment was completely flabbergasted, unable to move or think of anything else than the fact that he seemed to have turned into a lion.

A thousand thoughts flashed through his head – had he actually died and regenerated into-- into this? No, no, he would’ve noticed... Had someone used a type of psychograft and transplanted his mind into this body? No, he would’ve noticed that too. And he still felt like himself, just... didn’t quite look like himself. It was still his real body, but it had changed shape. Who could have done this? Still, if he had to be transformed into something else, a handsome and strong lion wasn’t so bad. Better than a mouse, or a sloth, or an anteater or an ostrich or a... He shook his head to stop that train of thought. Where was Amy? He thought he had heard her call for him. Was she alright? She’d better not be hurt... He wouldn’t know what he would do if she was hurt. She was his companion and he had sworn to himself, and to Rory, that he would protect her no matter what. He would never be able to forgive himself if something had happened to her... This was enough incentive to get moving, and mustering his strength, the leonine Time Lord sprang to his four feet, a little too fast. “Roaaagh!” That hurt. “Ahahaoow. Ow!” That voice was pretty impressive though. And it was strange to be standing on all fours like this, nevermind moving around... “Amy!” he shouted. Good, he could still talk... “Amy Pond!” No response. He tried again, but it was no use. The jungle was silent. The hill he had tumbled down hadn’t actually been as steep as it had seemed, but it was a long way up... A few feet away was a wide river and on the other side was more jungle. No sign of his companion. Frowning, the Doctor decided he had to climb the hill again. Maybe she hadn’t fallen, like he had? And he had to see what had happened to – he swallowed – to the TARDIS. Slowly, very slowly, he started walking. Co-ordinating four legs instead of two was a tricky as he had imagined. The climb up the hill was more gruelling than anything he had experienced recently, but it helped getting the main idea of how to use four paws instead of hands and feet. Once over the edge, he found his worst fears realised. “Oh no. No, no, no, no...” There was the blue box, empty. She was dead. Shattered from the inside. All her power cells, gone. The Doctor slumped down on his tail and stared at the box, the hopelessness welling over him. He placed a paw on one of the doors and looked towards the letters saying ‘Police Box’ above it, then beat his forehead against the wood. They were stuck.

None the less, he still had to find Amy. She wasn't in the immediate area, but she shouldn't be too far away... Inside the TARDIS was mainly chaos and rubble, but he had managed to find his sonic screwdriver, which still worked. However, he hadn’t figured out a good way to carry it, so he hid it well to come back for it later. The TARDIS was his everything, this couldn't be the end. He had to set things right somehow... Outside again, the Doctor took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, a very sad expression on his face. He took another good look at his beloved blue box, then turned away to begin his search. “Amy! Answer me, Amy!”
