Delano nodded and ran after Kasi with Muroki. "I think it will be better if we keep an eye on him for the next few days," Delano told his brother as they ran towards Kasi, "because I don't know how well he will take this." Soon enough, they caught up to Kasi, who didn't even acknowledged them.

Delano sighed, thinking of how to talk to their cousin. He decided to be the most direct he can, Kasi wouldn't understand anything longer than short phrases now. "Come on, Kasi," he said softly, gently nudging Kasi in the direction of the den, "lets get you home."

Kasi stumbled slightly when Delano nudged him, but proceeded to walk slowly back to the den. Delano was grateful that Kasi was walking on his own. As they walked back, Delano heard Kasi sniff loudly every now and then, and could only image what their cousin was going though. Something similar to when their parents died, probably.

Muroki decided not to say anything else and just walked with his brother and their cousin, Kasi between the two of them. He wondered whether there were any other of Kasi's friends who knew about this. Umeme and Lina, who probably knew Tango, obviously didn't know for if they did know then Muroki and Delano would have already noticed something was wrong. Kasi's parents were probably just as clueless, but at least they will be relieved to find out that Kasi was not harmed.

After a long walk back, Delano and Muroki finally brought Kasi back to the den. And not too soon, for Delano felt their cousin shake violently, and was hoping that Kasi wouldn't collapse before they got back. Leading him inside, Delano helped Kasi lie down on the ground before motioning for Muroki to follow him outside. He quickly looked over Kasi again, and saw that their cousin wouldn't be going anywhere soon.

"Do you think this means anything?" Delano asked Muroki once they were outside, "I mean, it might be just random, but what if Kasi's friend was purposefully targeted?" He sighed. "And does this mean that we might be forced back to the police? I don't think they are managing this well."

Muroki's mind brought up the looks of the body again, causing a shiver to go up his spine, "No, they are not managing this well at all." he however wasn't going anywhere unless they were actually called, he didn't know how would Umeme react to something like that. "Targeted or not, it doesn't really matter." in his opinion at least, "What we saw was just mom and dad all over again... Same marks, same scent..." he didn't know what to say other than that.

Delano simply nodded, not willing to speak. He was trying to calm himself, for the discovery had left him shaken. With Kasi around, he was able to diverge his attention to helping their cousin, but now that they were alone again, he found it hard to stay calm. "What do you want to do, then?" He finally asked. "We can't just do... nothing. I don't think this will end any time soon."

He shook his head, trying to clear it. "I'm so tired of this!" he blurted out angrily. "Why can't things just settle down?"

Muroki shook his head with a sigh, "I don't know Delano." if only things would just stop life would be much simpler, but life has already proven itself to both him and Delano that it wasn't going to be easy with them. He was more than relieved that Umeme was not the one who got killed, for if it was her he would really go mad. She was the only reason his life had a purpose again, and he wouldn't be able to bear the loss if he lost her.

Delano opened his mouth to shout at Muroki for not giving an answer, but forced himself to be silent before he would do something he might regret. He looked down at the ground, averting his gaze. "Alright," he finally murmured, "I'm sure we'll figure something out."

Still feeling angry, he went back inside the den, lying down next to the entrance so that he would notice if Kasi will try leaving. Sleep will not come easy for him now.

Muroki ignored Delano sudden anger. Delano had to realize that, even with them being brothers at the same situation, Muroki didn't have all the answers. He was just as upset as Delano was, and hopefully things really would settle down soon. Walking back inside with Delano, he lay down a few feet away from their cousin and went back to sleep.

As he tried to fall asleep, Delano's mind was racing inside his head. Unable to complete any series of coherent thoughts, by the time he fell asleep, he was extremely lost and confused.

The next morning, Delano woke up feeling only marginally better. Looking over at Kasi, he saw that their cousin was already awake, and looking very depressed. Moving to sit next to Kasi, Delano forced himself to act normal. It won't help to let Kasi see his hopelessness and anger. "How long have you been up?" Delano asked.

Kasi looked at Delano, who saw how red his eyes were. "All night," Kasi mumbled, "couldn't sleep."

Delano tried smiling. "We'll figure out what's wrong," he said, "don't worry about it." Kasi just grunted and lay his head back on the ground.

Eventually Muroki also woke up, at first feeling a little confused. He was not used to waking up without Umeme next to him, but considering what has happened yesterday he went to sleep around Kasi's area. He wasn't surprised to find Kasi already awake, it must have been difficult for him to fall asleep if he ever did manage to go to sleep. Either way, Kasi looked just as depressed as he was yesterday. Muroki stood up and slowly walked over to where Kasi and Delano were, "Hey..." he said, not knowing what to else to say.
